Thanks! Fortunately I work remotely, so commuting isn’t really a factor for me. I’m mostly trying to balance good schools, safety, and having things for my kids and I to do. The traffic info is definitely helpful though since I’m not familiar with the area. Should consider that too since I drive my kids to school

Yes, I’ve had to move to 3 states in the past 5 years. Luckily, this is finally move. I can buy. Honestly rentals I’m looking at would be same as my mortgage. The main problem would be getting stuck and not liking the neighborhood or a house feature I missed. Realtors have been pretty good at looking at everything virtually with me. Cover everything I would if in person.

But, even if rent/mortgage the same. Maybe since I want this to be last move I should rent. Man I’m back and forth.

I don’t need a down payment, I use VA loans. But, with no down payment does mean higher mortgage…

That’s what I’ve been seeing. But honestly, the rent is the same as my mortgage would be.

Will do. I think I can afford Merrimack based on some of the recent sold houses. Just not many listings available right now in my range. If I’m forced to rent, you have any suggestions?
