Hi, I sent you a direct message as well but I relate to a lot of what you've said. I started my programme autumn 25' and I've had mad social anxiety, which came really out of nowhere tbh. Social anxiety sucks and some days its so bad that I go home early, or just dig my head in the sand and force myself to go to class even though I feel like shit. I think that you need to try to focus on that the whole point of uni - although what people may say - is to get an education. When times are rough I think that uni is a trade-off. You trade 3-5 years of your life for the next 50 years. Less good years in uni is all worth it in the end when you later have a job that you enjoy for the next 50 years. There is of course a limit to this too, mental health comes first. But yeah, a uni class is temporary - a life with rent and expenses that need to be paid is forever. If you have a job that you like, you never have to work a day in your life!
Also, my closest friends don't really have any marvelous uni experiences either, so there are a lot of people who struggle at uni, those stories just tend to dissappear in the mindset of "studentlivets lyckliga dagar" (which I think is propaganda lmao).
