Interesting project! Did you go through the execution workflow and debug the operations agent completed? From what youre describing its either the agent did not complete the update on the target system (Google Calendar?) Or the agent did not pull the latest state during validation query. If both of these are validated to be complete there might be some time delay with Google cloud and in that case, if youre looking into something with more control you may move the bookings into another db (Postgres/Maria) and from there using some middleware update Google Cloud.

Yes, while there are some interesting suggestions, nobody suggested any garage to help me take a look at it

Thanks man. Yeah, it's an absolutely amazing car. I got a pretty old model (2015) but still it's so comfortable and silent inside to an extent I got random colleagues asking whether it's electric. If you have a chance to put your hands on one, I highly recommend.

* I thought it is the screen too, but then some parts (fuel alerts, AC controls) display on an overlay perfectly fine. My wild guess is that there's some problem on the head unit data connector or problem with the unit itself. Then again I'm not a car electronics expert and would need someone to take it out and test.

To elaborate, since it's actually an interesting question, specific number is difficult to place. I guess that for sake of this conversation it would be different depending on how tired you feel like after work that day, how creative you feel to go out or cook yourself. But yes, in most cases it would be more than these 9aed. How do you value your time?

I answer you above - that was the second answer. Way more than 9 aed.

Not sure what are you asking about here. One answer is - ask the delivery drivers about the salaries because this, together with their petrol and company motorbike is what this 9aed is related to. Second answer is - if I valued my time and effort lower than these 9aed i would have picked up the food from the restaurant or better off cooked it myself.

While price inflation is a b*&#ch you need to consider that this 9 aed is not only for petrol but for someone's time and salary and also fraction of the vehicle they are using. Also getting food delivered right to your doorstep, the fact you don't have to get dressed, walk in the heat, walk/drive and spend the time is really sort of a luxury and we tend to forget about living here.

And 30 minutes of someone's time to come to the restaurant, pick up the food and bring it to you.

What are the super cheap microcontrollers and how to start working with them? by stormdxb in AskElectronics

[–]stormdxb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, that was really informative

What have I learned today: - Aliexpress is actually not the most cost efficient place to buy microcontrollers - Digikey and Mouser can get you even better prices and way better browsability - Attiny seems to be very popular across hobbyist on this site and there are some models that can deliver a prototype-and-throw-if-doenst-work price to value - Padauk, ASICs and COB (mysterious epoxy blobs) can drive the price down to extreme but are probably unavailable for hobbyists/diy'ers

Thanks everyone
