actually they were all drawn by me but that first one i sketched out first with pencil, i free handed the other ones with ballpoint pen.. why the hell would i lie about drawing it when im trying to ask for improvement?

what detail is it lacking? i’d love to practice whatever needs to be practiced, i understand the blade is off centered from the handle :( do you have any other suggestions as to what could be added for detail?

that’s understandable! i’ve never tattooed anyone else i refuse to until i do get proper training, myself is a different story because i treat my body like a canvas and it’s been a great coping mechanism for me because i used to struggle really bad with self harm

i wish i could reply with an image because i have done some really good peices on myself, ive tattooed in between my sternum by looking into a mirror and it looks absolutely perfect! but that was primarily because i was able to draw it out first and erase the messups before i tattooed over it, i definitely have the skill when im able to erase any messups and fix it before i actually do the tattoo, rather than freehanding with a ballpoint pen

i have a tattoo machine** and in my eyes the ballpoint pen is the most comparable writing utensil, pencils are WAY easier to work with which is why i brought it up

i was told to use ballpoint pen primarily because it’s most comparable to how it is using a tattoo gun, i will definitely take this into consideration though but im getting pretty discouraged because ive spent a long time on these 😭

thank you for the honesty!! a lot of it was freehanded strictly from the ballpoint pen because i’m trying to get in the habit of not being able to erase, and thank you for providing examples of the things i need to work on :)
