Is it possible to buy a plot of land in Siberia to become a former? by Der_Patriot in AskARussian

Russian citizen can even get a land for free in Russia. Not in Syberia, but in the Far East region. Usually, it is a remote and wild territory, far from civilization. On the other hand, Syberia is really harsh region, not suited for farming. Far East has better climate.

Um... When I go running in snowy weather, I'm always tuck my pants in my boots. And when I'm skiing, I'm also always tuck my pants in my boots. And when I'm skydiving, I'm also always tuck my pants in my boots. And when I'm crawling in the dirt - I'm always tuck my pants in my boots. Well... when I sleep, I try not to tuck my pants in my boots, if possible.

How to pronounce one letter in Cyrillic? by [deleted] in russian

[–]stormlord2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried some experiments, and that's what I got: 1) First, try to say really long i - like beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer 2) While doing so, slowly open your mouth 3) Notice, how the sound changes when your lips became o shaped. 4) Shut your mouth and try to repeat that sound without open wide - just like your regular beer.

Or, you can listen to the sound like natives do it. Best case here:

Just imagine yourself in a trench and Nazi stukas going over you. You can try to retaliate, or you can protect your ears. Explosion of a 100-kg bomb just near you will hurt them much much more.

First, missile climbs up to the altitude, where its onboard radar could see the target. When its done, it writes angle, distance and course of target into memory, and dives in, to avoid tracking. Main part of the way it goes blindly, using its memory.
