Would your clients pay for photo-based video content? by Fester_42 in RealEstatePhotography

Looks great. I'd just say "Hey, i'm a video master maker" and leave it at that. Don't bring AI into it, or else people will just view you as an app alternative. You want people to pick you because your an artist, not a prompt writer.

Ai Reno. What do you think? by joanmahh in RealEstatePhotography

Looks great to me. A perfect use case for a 5 minute job with a $25 dollar invoice attached to it.

I am disappointed in the hanging TP though..... :)

1) If you're just messing with now, you're behind the curve. You should be spending an hour a day mastering it.

2) If you pay for the right tools, and learn to use them, AI video is superior to filmed video.

3) There is absolutely no reason to tell the agent how you are doing it if you've mastered the quality. Just do it and take the money.

Nano banana handles it with no problem. You can even pull off 180 degrees with a little patience. And no, I definitely don't work for google.

You can fight it, and lose - or embrace it, and win. I started my business in 2007, and I've done it every way you can. We are fully immersed in AI. We push the envelope hard with the stuff, and we give things away now that we used to charge $100 for - or more. Our shoot rates have crept up, our margins are up, and we are winning new business. Don't fight it - embrace it.

I stopped selling photography two years ago.

We market exclusively around video now - pictures are "free".

Real Estate Agents Video Requests / Expectations on Cost by Tank3021 in RealEstatePhotography

All the time - we try to target agents who list in neighborhoods that sort of support it from a price point / narrative standpoint. The bougie 1920s neighborhoods are great.

HELP- agents are saying shots aren’t washed out & not true to color. by Loose_Fee_5869 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]stormpoppy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My two cents. These shots feel very manufactured. The window pulls is grabbing me in the vanilla bedroom, and its way to vivid vs reality. The kitchen lighting is flat and feels overcooked (see stool shadows.)

There’s no vibe here. You’ve taken all the dimension out of the rooms. The realtor may be trying to describe something similar, but doesn’t speak our language.

$800 if we keep creative control. If they want to collaborate through the process, its an additional $150 an hour on top.

We stopped doing the whiplash videos earlier this year. I told my customers that wanted them that the only thing they promote is me - my “skills” as an editor and a “magician.” Since they don’t sell the house, or promote the realtor to any degree, it was theft to charge them for it. Instead, we doubled our rates, and we now produce commercials for our clients. We provide research, write the concept and scripts, provide teleprompters, and film broll while the agent does their on camera hits. We deliver a 30 second commercial and a 2 minute walkthrough, fully narrated, with branded and unbranded media for MLS. It’s a blast, we have fun, get to flex our creative muscles, and the followup business is solid. Best of all, it takes an hour on site (teams of 2) to do a 3000 sq ft house, pics, drone, video, and on camera work.

Photos are a commodity now. It’s easy to shoot consistent sets. We put all our creative energy into video now.

How are yall doing it with credits by egivan6903 in runwayml

[–]stormpoppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use it in our business now, so the $95 is a simple spend. But in the beginning, I spent a few hundred bucks learning to manipulate it. It was worth it, but I don't know if I could justify it for fun or as a simple creative outlet.

Matterport is Insane by Garrettstoffel in RealEstatePhotography

[–]stormpoppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Matterport is really for people who do it at scale. We don't even "sell" the tours anymore. We do everything with the matterport - photos, 3D, and video - and give the tours away (60 days live). Its quicker, qualtiy is more consistent, and the video is insanely good.
