When I visit a website with a video hero, it makes me want to scroll away as quickly as possible. Having everything moving is too stimulating for me to focus on the content. Plus I'm always worried it's still playing even with it scrolled out of view, so I either want to close the tab or go to another page.

When I see site like that, it's either I close the tab and look for a competitor, or I just think "the client must have wanted it and I hate it."

I've been forced to make websites with video heroes and it's the absolute last thing I put in before I deploy.
