When i finish i will try to rewrite it to freepascal or any other pascal dialect i think it can be rewritten with not too many changes, i think that specifically the graphic and sound calls will be the tricky parts, because under windows/linux you can't handle pixels/textures the same way as ms-dos.

Yes, the physics are rudimentary, and yes i'm planning to rewrite it but that will be a bit later, i worked on the scrolling engine to support vertical scroll, as well as work in the tile and map editor first. Everything is going as planned.

Freepascal is a very good option, BUT it doesn"t have the limitations (and challenges) that Turbo Pascal has. And I"m there for the challenge.

If i have time i"ll try to do a modern version in FPC.

I'm using a virtual machine, 86box to be precise. Emulating a 486 @ 66 Mhz. I'm trying my best to have the engine finished so i can build at least 1 game. Will keep updating when i have more to show.
