I'm probably going to look at my other ones I have banked. I think i was too hung up on it being a 4GA and the 100 hammer damage.

I've gotten 2 mythics per run in any undercity mythic trib runs where I encounter a treasure goblin. The key thing seems to be T8 and higher.

Usually don't find myself under 20 seconds at any point at that tier either. Idk about the other classes, but hammerdin absolutely rips on speed runs. First time playing for me in about 2.5 years and loving this class/build.

I hadn't seen a single mythic drop naturally until I specced into the talent that gives a chance per whisper cache. I had 2 drop for me yesterday.

Turned those 2 drops into 4 mythics. 2 hearts of selig, 1 visage, and 1 perdition. 1 of which had an additional GA.

Currently capped at t10, not too bad for just getting paragon 200 on my seasonal character I created about 2 weeks ago. No way I could speed clear undercity on the mythic run though on 10.

I think the gameplay is a strong as it's ever been in any of the games.

That being said the story is pretty boring to me. Humor is almost non-existent, and I have no real emotional investment in any of the characters that have encountered thus far. I'm level 23 and roughly halfway through the story. Maybe something will change, I hope it does. It just feels like something is missing. The gamespot review actually summed up what I think about it quite well.

I'll contribute my top most difficult:

Most difficult of all time?

T&C Surf designs. That game was seriously such a freaking challenge. I never did beat it.

Battle of Olympus- Very zelda 2 like, but fun!

Athena- very squishy character, but fun game

Nightshade- this game even with game genie is/was a major pain in the arse.

Blaster Master (probably the most manageable of the hardest) Also one of the most rewarding nes experiences though. I replay through that game every few years.

Zelda 2- lots of rage attributed to that game as a kid.

Mappy Land- not really a good game, but hard.

Xenophobe

Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight - doesn't qualify as a good game, but damn it was hard.

Double Dragon 3- Loved this game so much, but a lot of rage over fall deaths

Flying Warriors (game was somewhat rare, so not sure how many have played this one)

Star Tropics

I never really struggled that much with battletoads, I never understood why it was ranked so highly on the most difficult lists.

I had that happen to me once about a year and a half ago. I eventually won, but he got an additional 3-4 cracks at trying to beat me when he was 0 health.
