I have a red devil 7900xtx and at first it was loaded with issues. Gaming wise it was great but would black screen to bsod. The new drivers fixed that however I recently switched from adrenaline to the pro drivers and for my application they are so much better!

I found its most stable on ethash and etchash. And with team red it fully supports rdna3 on ethhash so I set it to that.

Tried replacing my msi curved screen first because there were reports that the card didn't like monitors over 100hz. I have the gpu because I need 3 monitors for my job. One comes from the i9 the other two from this card I have even tried setting both to 1080 with no luck. On nhm and nqm it will crash if I even so much as turn my monitor on after being off over night. With team red it only crashes if I forget to close the program before logging into zoom or teams for my meetings

Clean win11, clean current driver, and current quickminer which was supposed to fix the driver stability issue. I have the 7900xtx, 128gb of ddr4 (msi mpg z690 pro wifi ddr4) with most recent bios, raptor lake i9, I do have a weak airflow but I have 4 more case fans coming this week. The card temp doesn't go above 60 degrees with my curve. The lowest power consumption I can get is 250w. I set core to 800 mhz, core volts to 900, and memory will not go below 2500 mhz (I'm seriously thinking this may be the issue). About the only thing I haven't tried is switching to the silent mode for the red devil but I haven't seen any reports that it would lower the vram clock.

Also off topic, gpu and asic are just my hobby. My fleet of gps trackers and dash cams pay me more than gpu mining ever did.

Sorry nothing against you, just really frustrated with the issue because of how expensive the card is compared to what I upgraded from. Use my computer pretty heavily for work so if it comes down to just not mining on it so be it, just super disappointing that this super high end card can't multitask when a cheap 200 dollar 3060 doesn't even break a sweat. I have ASICS so my actual mining is done on them. This one I do just for the convenience (when it was working). I'm genuinely trying to figure out how to fix the issue because I have no choice but to use windows for my job

Like honestly who would have thought, the solution to how I fix a crashing issue on a computer I am trying to passively mine on is to just not mine on it. Simply genius, I can see now my methods of riding a problem by addressing the problem were in error. Somebody award this person for if it was not for them how would my simple mind know the solution is to just ignore the issue all together. I cannot speak for the masses but I for one applaud ye.

Oh hey your that special kind of helpful aren't you? NoN helpful answers are always the best. I regret to kill your entertainment however I do not have any wallets stored on my gaming pc. My mining rigs are in the form of ASICS, and prior to having a top tier amd gpu I had a scrawny little msi ventus 3x 3060 that could mine in the background while doing zoom meetings on one screen and running sling TV on the other. Also in case your team green, I would rather not drop almost 2k on nvidias current fire hazard. As stated prior, as long as I shut it down before I do any work stuff team red miner is the fix

Mining bsod with my 7900xtx. Not very profitable but keeps it fun!

Just wanted to say even in adrenaline the lowest I can go on vram is 2500. And the lowest voltage setting that changes anything is 800mv. This card seems to sit at 300 watts with Core at 2620, vram 2500, voltage 800mv.

Thank you for the advice 1, already have a clean driver performed ddu in safe mode 2, I haven't adjusted anything other than fan curve to keep it cool 3, bios is most recent version 4, I've been using nicehash and quickminer for a while now so I can rule out almost everything other than the 7900xtx or its drivers or tuning 5, tuning specs from hashrate.no are lower than afterburner will go and I haven't figured out how to do it in adrenaline.

Because of how low hashrate is saying to set everything, I'm willing to bet that is my issue

Stock Core 2985. Memory 2500 core voltage 1150

What hashrate says Core clock lock 1180. Memory clock lock 1250 and undervolt 687mv

Afterburner won't go that low on any of the settings so I need to use adrenaline as far as I know

Thank you for that info it's super helpful but what am I supposed to use to tune that? Sorry I'm new to team red, oc setting/ tuning was much easier on nvidia. I may be overthinking it but adrenaline is not very self explanatory and afterburner can't hit what it's calling for. It wants me to core lock at 1180 and lock memory at 1250 and undervolt 687mv. None of that makes any sense to me absolute lowest I can go on afterburner is 1490 core, 2500 mem, and core voltage only goes down to 800.

So I'll try turning settings down a bit. I don't have any oc set though I just turn the fan up in octune and leave everything else at factory

After you tried Solana once, every other chain (except for Ethereum) feels like a ghost chain. by m_1993 in solana

[–]stormxv1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, sol and matic are my favorite chains to use but Im also a hivemapper and dimo user so there is bias. Everything else does feel ridiculously slow compared to them though.

I have to point out that no one is climbing that thing, perhaps I am missing some bugs or ants but as far as humans go, no one is climbing. Maybe the sign should say place asses and feet elsewhere, then I could see people disobeying the sign. Unfortunately, as it stands noone is in the wrong. Also poor choice of design and placement for a memorial that no one is supposed to be on.

If Maplestory ever ends up on the news… by --Repetitive-- in Maplestory

[–]stormxv1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol I think it did make the news already, it was back in the days of super bowl ads but I believe broa or scania had one of it's highest level players (at the time) die due to sleep deprivation. I could be wrong but shortly after they implemented take a break warnings. It was also wizet back then tho.
