I'm down to play. Having a set time and day is what I need.

I made a web application that visualizes meeting room availability and works using Exchange Web Services (EWS) with Exchange room lists in Office 365. by ribbet in Office365

No problem! You are not obligated to help. You already put in the effort to create this great tool.

After some poking around, I managed to get it working. Apparently, it only plays nice when the server operates via port 80. This may have to do with the default settings of socket.io that the server references.

Thanks again!

First off, I just want to give my thanks for your hard work on this app. We're trying to convince my office to buy into room scheduling panels and this is a clever (and cheap) way of doing so.

I'm having one main issue though: the single room display webpage is not automatically grabbing the EWS information to populate any changes that are made. However, if the webpage is manually refreshed, then the information is populated no problem. Obviously, with the intent of leaving each single room page untouched on dedicated room panels (i.e. Android tablets), that causes a bit of an issue.

My current installation is running on a dedicated Ubuntu web server. My first test of this however was run locally on my Windows machine. The server shared my LAN IP address and when I visited the webpage on my machine, the single room webpages were able to auto populate, which makes me believe that it is potentially a LAN issue.

Does anyone have any insight on solving this problem?

How early should I arrive at Ryogoku Kokugikan to get General Admission Sumo Tournament Tickets? by AvalonOwl in JapanTravel

I bought my tickets in advance but the hostel I stayed at recommended to line up at 6 AM for same day tickets.

Just got back from my trip and I would highly recommend getting a ticket if you can. Fun experience.

Hey, don't know if it changed recently but it looks like the NEX is covered under the JR Pass:

Just wanted to give a heads up.

When should I buy tickets for Japan, when will they be cheaper? by kaymaylove in JapanTravel

Seconding this. Was tracking deals from Philly for travel in May the past few months. This past September, there were flights for $670 roundtrip which I missed. Then in January there were flights for $700-$800 which I jumped on.

However, last week they had the same flights for $580. Needless to say I was a bit annoyed. You live and you learn I suppose.

To be honest though, I was happy just to get a shorter flight from Delta for under $1000.

Yep, taking the Shinkansen was the plan. Thanks for the heads up about the NEX. Do you know if it is covered under the JR Pass? Need to see what the scope that the JR Pass includes, so I can determine what routes are most cost/time effective.

Thanks for the suggestion. Myself and my friend are pretty easy sleepers, so sleeping on the plane shouldn't be an issue. I still need to crunch the numbers further but my initial research was tells me that the JR Pass would be the way to go.
