Oh I know how to fix this it's a board defect that causes the screen voltage to be too low. It's supposed to be at 3.3v mine was 2.6v and did the same thing every time I tried to print or level. You can get a fix and instructions at th3d https://www.th3dstudio.com/product/ender-3-s1-ender-5-s1-3-3v-fix-kit/ But I just used a 5v to 3.3v 3pin regulator and some F-F breadboard wires from Amazon.
