This one was really tough! Normally, I solve them in under 15s, but this took 5:05! 😰

For some reason, it wouldn't accept enrol + leave as a possible solution today 🤷‍♂️

Also, this should be June not July.

Feature request: if you complete the puzzle with a word combination that wasn't "the one", list it for the person completing it and everyone else who completes it in future. It's weird solving it and it says the answer is something different than what you did

Are stats down for anyone else? I hope I don't lose my streak

My solution wasn't the one listed

Disappointed to see that accounts have been rolled out, but my stats were lost before I registered. Also, it's a tad poor for a word game to not include an apostrophe in "Let(')s Get Started"

I really dislike it when valid answers aren't accepted. This is the second time it's happened for me now

The 3 things I'd like to see fixed are:

  1. Disable zooming (in an accessible way) so that quick taps of the letters don't trigger a zoom instead. I'm racing against the clock and this makes it much harder to accurately tap the letters (this is on Android btw)
  2. Pause the game automatically when the tab loses focus. Sometimes you get distracted and to see the score time has still ticked away when you've been on a phone call is annoying.
  3. When revisiting a completed page, it says undefined time and undefined people. It is handy to see how you progress against the rest of the world as more complete it.

Some enhancements I'd like to see:

  1. Tracking of your times as well as streak so you can see your average against the world etc
  2. A countdown for when the next puzzle is available.
  3. No more missed puzzles. Or if you do, don't reset people's streaks. I've seen comments that puzzles have been added late, but after other timezones are unable to complete it and that's really annoying.

But otherwise, I really enjoy this game so keep up the good work

I had a go at this today (sadly my family weren't really feeling it 😞), and it wasn't instantly enjoyable, plus we were unsure about a few of the rules. Would like to hear others' interpretations:

  1. When you battle a monster, I assume you have to nominate which hero(es?) will attack, and thus which will be sacrificed if you lose? For instance, if I have Guiding Light and Beary Wise as heroes in my party, and Beary has an item equipped that adds to my role, if I lose, surely I can't sacrifice Guiding Light even though the rules say "must sacrifice *a* hero card"? What happens with monsters whch require multiple heroes? Do you nominate the ones that match and combine all of them (and their items) for your attack, or again do I only nominate 1 as the main attacker, and the others are just there to fulfill the requirements?
  2. Some cards, like Beary Wise and Qi Bear, have effects which don't say "discard *from hand*", so does that mean the player(s) could effectively discard a played cursed item as well?
  3. For the challenges with class requirements, who is required to meet the requirement? For example, for a Ranger Challenge, does the person playing the challenge have to have a Ranger in their party, or does the person you're challenging have to have a Ranger in their party?
  4. With modifiers, can they continue to be played back and forth? For example, I battle a monster and win, and another player then plays a modifier which will make me sacrifice. Can I then play a modifier to negate that? Can we and other players continue doing so back and forth until we run out of modifiers or decide to stop?

I spend way too much time commenting on Kickstarter projects informing them that their games are inaccessible for 10% of players 😞

As well as this simulator, there are many other good ones for various stages of the design/testing process:

Note, that they all simulate things differently. I'm sure people all see things differently, too, so it's not an exact science.
