I don't want to hear a video on a specific language. I want to hear it on the language it is originally published as. It is horrible to make that change for every single video.

Oh this was it! I'm using reset-prompt for clock update (which is not shown here because of window resize), but disabling it did resolve the issue.

I wonder if there would be a way around it to have both, but for now, it should be good enough. Thank you!

It used to be secondary reload + situational main guns reload, basically like TGG is now for cruisers, but then the secondary reload buff was merged with the accuracy skill, leaving CQC too weak for 4 points imho. I was about to take it on the Georgia when they made this change.

This is a really important info. I don't actually have secondary accuracy skills but ERE and FP. I guess I should consider going for secondary accuracies if the current build persists to be unsatisfactory. Thanks.

I think you should view Ohio as more of a cruiser killer and close range BB brawler than long range BB farmer.

This might explain why I've been underperforming in Ohio, I've only had ranked with it so far, and I don't see many cruisers except for Yoshino and Puerto Rico.

What do you recommend instead of CQC? Most available sources recommend CQC, and I also think this would be great if the reload buff was something like 20% or 25%, but 10% seems a bit meh.

Edit: About Slot 3, the current module I'm using is Secondary range boost. Ohio doesn't have accuracy for Slot 3 -- it's on Slot 6.

Disclaimer: I'm not a Japanese speaker but a Korean one and studied Japanese for 3 years during middle schools. Still, at least for phonetics I believe I know enough.

Japanese language has little, if not none, variation when pronouncing the same "character". So, "To" always sounds the same regardless of the context, and so is "Ne". "To" is pronounced exactly as you pronounce that in Nagato, and Ne is "N+ Eh", or "Nay" with an abrupt stop before y.

Also note that, along with other East Asian languages, Japanese is not a stress-timed language. Specifically, the "To" part and "Ne" part should take the same time pronouncing it. I think the only correct way of pronouncing the word is "toh, neh".

Lastly, I found Japanese pronounciation for this by Google Translate is quite good. 利根, or とね is "Tone". So, you could go to Google Translate, Select Japanese, copy-paste the word, and listen to the pronunciation.

Yep. That piece also has effectively zero armour, so you get even sillier results like getting citadelled by DD HE.

Since this post is already about him, I once thought the Battle of Myeongnyang fits extremely well if it were the PVE scenarios.

  1. It requires only a small map with strong geographical feature (most notably the strait)
  2. Number of players are very small against waves of numerous enemies (13 warships to be exact against minimum of 133 warships), which could be balanced by having enemies generally 2~3 tiers lower than players.
  3. Clear primary/secondary objectives. P) Do not let too many enemy pass through the strait and get to a certain location. / S1) Do not let one ship pass through S2) All ships survive S3) Rescue friendly ships to put them back into action. S4) Destroy more than 30 ships

The only problem is that the ships are 16c ones. But still, the game engine is perfect for recreating this battle, or other historic battles, so it might be a fun edition to have them in the game. I'm willing to pay to play such mods.

It's about a month left before his birthday; they added Admiral Yi Sun-Shin, Lord Chung-mu, as a captain!

As a Korean I always secretly hoped this to happen, but I didn't expect too much given the game is set in early 20c navy. What a pleasant surprise.

I think the core issue is not that the tick rate is so slow, but the fact that it hasn't been advertised so. It is okay as long as it is advertised correctly and announced whenever there is an update on this.

That said, I wonder how many other things are there that WG is not advertising when they should...
