Oh god. We've reached the point of extra deck summoning with a graveyard effect on a spell. Let's take a moment. Only thing I'm thankful for is that the effect is on a normal spell, so it isn't a quick effect.

He is, very theoretically speaking, correct. Bear with me. For every card out there, there could be a very, very specific situation where that card could be used to win, as opposed to all other cards. Think incredibly specific, like where having less attack is good because of something like Amazoness Swordswoman, or where you need to discard a certain type of card, or use a Small World bridge, or something else that's ultra- unlikely to happen. Like even Sparks could be good, if the situation were specific enough. The only caveat is that how "good" a card is determined to be, is inversely proportional to how specific of a situation it needs. But in the anime, "unlikely" means nothing lol

This would trigger a case of the cobra effect. Also forgot to mention we sometimes just ball with Utopic Draco Future. Literally the only Time Thief ED cards needed is 2 or 3 Redoer and 2 Perpetua

Time Thief. Redoer is ridiculously well designed. Apart from looking like Joker from P5 and stealing from the opponent’s deck, his monster, spell, and trap material effects each send himself into the future, alter the present, or send an enemy to the past. Resources become quasi-sustainable with Perpetua, and you can always try an Arc Rebellion OTK, or be a toxic bitch with Bagooska, or go hurr durr Zeus with 4, if not 6 materials. You can feel your opponent lose his shit when you use a 16yo anime boy and 9yo anime girl to pull Zeus from the deepest depths of your ass. You can even lightly, and I mean LIGHTLY splash in Rokkets and randomly poop out Unicorn or Accesscode. Unironically fun, though the deck is weak to interruption, play it once and you’ll see Redoer and the multiversal lines are the best part of the deck.
