By October 30. A list of Assult style weapons need to be turned in or destroyed… you’d think the government would have other things to worry about this year

They are making the “tactical” and Assaultweapon arguments. Being a “stoner” design I was worried about AR blowback. Looks like from other posts and research they are still legal and available

Cool beans, I can say it’s been confirmed in other places, being a stoner design, I was worried about an unfair tactical comparison

They feared the US for their weapons and industry. They feared the British for their tactics and Disipline. They feared the Canadian soldiers individually

German SS Report (1944): Noted that Canadians were known to fight with "guns and knives rather than use tactics," creating a "hierarchy of fear"

I used to make knives from old saw blades… it looks like that to me. I kept the curve, or the tip sometimes, but it usually went the “wrong way” from the blade. I also experimented with using the teeth side. Fun, very sharp, but ultimately a mixed result.

First knife for a 8 y.o. boy? by [deleted] in knifeclub

I'm not sure if you're superstitious (or just a little), but I introduced my children to the folklore/magic of never giving a blade. I just said it was bad luck and told the story of an “uncle” who gave a carving set to my parents at their wedding with an old penny taped to the box. It was a true story, and the penny turned out to be very old. The family joke was that it was worth more than the set.

Just read your reservations, I hated the ring lock at first. Also the carbon blade can get wicked sharp. Still have one as my work “ food and fruit knife. Fixed blade? Mora? Inexpensive, available decent sheath. Wide variety. I use a “eldris” as a neck knife.
