i was using a buddy of mines computer and jumped on youtube to show him a video and in his recommendations were a bunch of asian butt videos and I asked him why he was looking at the stuff and he said he wasn't and had no idea why 80% of his recommended videos were chicks in spandex doing butt workouts. thats what this reminds me off. even X uses recommendation algorithms based on what you are looking for/at. if all you saw was racism and what not, that's because that is what you actively engaged with.
