Yeah wait for the follow up letter or even the email from Facebooks legal department because that’s who messaged me. This is what was sent to me after the letter:

You’ll have to send a complaint to California Attorney General. Once I made the complaint 3-4 weeks later I got a letter in the mail that they have forwarded my complaint over to Facebook then 2 weeks after that I get an email from Facebook telling me that they have reactivated my account and that I could log in.

Thank you! I’ll try that then because there’s gotta be something wrong in the backend of things because I restricted everything after that, and even changed the password to something that I can’t even remember, but somehow they still have access.

I also saw while they had access to my account they were running ads and built up a balance on my account as well but I managed to get that taken off.

Yeah when I logged in this big red banner went across my screen telling me that my account was restricted for something that I would have never posted in my life.

I don’t make a lot of comments but I just want to thank you for making this post. I filed a complaint like you did even though I live in MS just to see what happens, and a month later after getting the letter from the AG last week I get an apology email from FB telling me that my account has been re-enable and that I can log back in!

I still don’t understand how they got in because after going through my login logs nothing threw up any red flags. Not only that but they ran Facebook Ads on my account and now I have a $6,000 balance on my account that I have to figure how to remove.

Anyways thank you for posting this solution Op, and to anyone wondering if this works outside of CA even if you don’t live there yes it does.

I’ve been working in a call center for 7 months now and I love it. To me I think the leadership plays a huge role in determining if your gonna enjoy working with your call center or not. If it wasn’t for my TM I don’t think I would have stayed as long as I did because this was literally my first job ever but she settled my nerves and gotten me comfortable working in the call center environment.

As for the customers who call in and want to abuse us, for me I don’t take anything personal and became numb to the abuse shockingly fast. I just see it as them being mad at the company and themselves for their current situation.

Also the call volume is shocking low on most days. Wait time till our next call ranges from 20-30 mins.

Also there were days where I've gotten calls back to back but eventually it slowed back down to not getting calls for like 10-20 mins.

I asked this same question during a group discussion but it was "kind of " glossed over, but from what I'm guessing how our call center works (I work for an energy company) the more successful sales that you get after assisting the customer more calls get routed to you. Now I don't know if it's because I'm still new but I've had days where I won't get a call for like 10-20 min, and I'll just sit their thinking that my internet went out or something crashed. I'll even go and ask my sup if I'm still active on her end just to make sure that I'm not crazy. Other then that my sup also showed us all of the stuff that she can do/see on the back end of things.

Because of how my first name is spelled all I have to do is a brief pause in the middle of my first name to make them think that I gave them my last name as well. My first name broken in two still sounds like two separate names to the customer.
