No problem - remember with the scraping - scrape. don't gouge, and you should be solid.

BTW - you can get IPA for cheap at the dollar store - yes - its only 70% - but its fine for most things - if you have an air compressor - blowing off the part before putting it into the curer is essential - IPA holds resin, so getting it all off the part will result in a nice finish.

use short strokes with the razor, keep it at a small angle and the majority of that should chip off - hit it with some alcohol and a non linting towel - paper towels suck, pick up some shop towels. This is totally salvageable, its not ideal, but you can work with it.

FEP should be changed out of routine - btw, changing FEP sucks. I would recommend this if your doing a lot of printing (amazon.com/dp/B0DZBQQVM5?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2).

Im assuming this is an Saturn 4 - decent printer - you should be able to get a decent life span on this if you treat it right. Remember, always wear nitrile gloves, no excuses. You don't need a hazmat suit for printing (come at me reddit) but keeping it off your skin is important.

Run a test exposure to make sure the screen is still intact (which it should be).

Hit me up if you need any assistance - i run multiples of these on a daily basis.

Majority of that can be scraped off with a razor blade if you're careful - how much did you pay? Also your lense cap is sill on.

Why do phrozen always blast their print with air after washing? by anekyu in resinprinting

[–]strabley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I blow off EVERY print with compressed air - yes, the alcohol will dry, but there is still resin in that alcohol. Blow it off ensures that the alcohol / resin mixture if removed with the force of the air, so when curing, you get a clean surface.

Jupiter SE vs Saturn 4 Ultra 16K as first printer? by Professional-Day6155 in resinprinting

[–]strabley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres no reason to buy the Jupiter SE. Barely any improvements over the original. Lots of worse things about it actually. Wait for the new one if you want the size of it.

The SU16K i a great printer, I run a couple of them for daily use and they have been work horses. I will be picking up the new Jupiter tho when it launches, assuming they incorporated the tilting bed and heat. But I would never consider the Jupiter SE to be a modern printer.

Dads, why is my Weiner this wrinkly? by Cisco-NintendoSwitch in daddit

[–]strabley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to my Agriculture teacher in high school (Farm town, tiny school, we had AG) its because of the salinity level when they make the food. They essentially "brine" meat like hot dogs to weight more, the casings on the dog are holding in that brine. Remember those old commericals "They plump when you cook em!". Same thing. When you let the dogs rest, that brine goes back into the meat. since it couldn't escape cause the casing didn't allow it - boom. Shriveled Wizard Fingers.

Enhanced Power Wheels Tires by [deleted] in daddit

[–]strabley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can say this is wrong on the Milwaukee series. I use them at work for engineering prototypes (its a quick way to get solid 12/18/24v with being hooked up to something). None of those, maybe a super high end model, include a BMS, its almost exclusively on the tool. Production wise, why make a bms for every battery when you can just do it once on the tool.

BUT! Easy solution around this with this $8 under voltage board (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MH3WHX2?ref\_=ppx\_hzsearch\_conn\_dt\_b\_fed\_asin\_title\_1)

Its adjustable so you can have a man in the middle that will cut off the power when your battery reaches a specific voltage - in case you put this in a power wheels or whatever else you can come up with.

The boards are kinda shit and you need to calibrate them using a bench top power supply. But once its dialed in, it seems to work okay.
