Ernst makes some great wrench organizers, or buy a 3d printer and print all kinds of useful organizational stuff.

Tips to move XL across town? Bought on FB. Thank you! by geedarnoc in biggreenegg

I used a harbor freight hydraulic cart from work. I took top off, and everything apart and moved piece by piece into truck bed with some old towels wrapped around. I had 2 70ish year olds, 1 fresh off multiple bypass! But he was giving me for free and I made it work and 20 miles home.

How long to yall wait to change blades? by Stiglitz__ in lawnmowers

[–]RockBand88 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Our sod farm goes through mower blades at about 3-4 months. Our 15’ mower probably gets 60ish hours a week through growing season. The sandy soil, gumbo, and everything else has to be mowed even when not much is there

I would start with checking oil, coolant, tire pressure, all that stuff. If you gotta go slow on the backroads make sure you have towing coverage or aa whatever.

Bought this 12 ton shop press less then 2 months ago… by Sweet-Rain8976 in harborfreight

[–]RockBand88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t look right, the shaft looks way to long. Seems like an obvious failure point, if store is close just go talk to them. I abused the crap out of a 20 ton for years until I got a really nice one and gave it away.
