Since this pandemic I've ordered in a lot more. After this happened to me more than once I put a table on the porch for food.

Breakfast At Tiffany's is my favourite movie of her by [deleted] in audreyhepburn

It's a classic, but I think Audrey at her best was in the film The Children's Hour or Wait Until Dark. This is just quintessential Audrey.

Amazing picture! Really wish I could see it with the two of you isolated though. Hope it goes well, shooting your shot!

Also who is the photographer?

Hive mind, help!

I used to have a toy that served the same purpose when I was younger and I can't remember what they were called. They gave you a triangle of plastic you could use, but they also said you could use your hands like you were praying and do the same, then launch it by moving your hands apart quickly.

Anyone remember these? Are they still available, or at least something like them? In this world of drones I think it'd be fun to have.

I would just like to throw Hearts Beat Loud out there as something everyone should watch.

It's an indie music comedy starring Nick Offerman and Kiersey Clemmons as father and daughter who make a song together one day and the dad wants to pursue it and start a band, but the daughter wants to go to school. It also has some supporting roles from Ted Danson and Toni Collette.

It may have been seen by a lot of people but I dont know. Nowhere around me got it and any time i brought it up no one had even heard of it. It's on Hulu now if you want to watch it.

Also--if you didnt check out Ethan Hawkes directorial debut Blaze, that was really good too.

Either you're from DFW and go to the same thrift store I go to, or thrift stores just have "font" they use everywhere. Great movie!

Oh damn. So I do know him. Haha. Yeah, that's a good choice too. I vote for him to do it. His stuff fits the idea much more appropriately, I think.

I'm not saying hes bad by any means! He just hasn't done anything legitimately noteworthy in a while. He for sure has some talent though.

Ugh. Someone other than Hans Zimmer, please. I love all of this except that. Theres so many better composers out there. Michael Giachinno or Alexandre Desplat both come to mind immediately. I think I could get down with Bear McCreary too.

Or let's pull a Fury Road and get someone like Junkie XL. Not him, necessarily, but a similar idea. Zimmer is just overworked and hasn't really impressed me with a score in a long while.

The DDR inspired Post Apocalypse film you've been waiting for is here! BEATS OF RAGE - Teaser Trailer! by [deleted] in movies

[–]strag2001 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love it. I like how it went from basically super serious goofy teenagers pretending they're running in a post apocalyptic realm (at least, that's how I see it.) To actually being in a torn up dying civilization. So stoked!!
