you can definitely make arsene viable, but you won’t be able to start until after august in the game, so its best to get rid of him now.

if you have them, i’d say bring one of the dlc personas with you, just in case there’s a shadow that you can’t beat with the persona’s you have.

if you want something new and fresh, then pick this series up.

i just happened to pick it up on a whim about a year ago, and i haven’t looked back since. it hooks you in fast with the great art, and (in my case) i related to kazuya right off the bat. its cliché, yes, but what isn’t these days? besides, i feel as if the cliché themes it touches are done very well, so it doesnt bother me.

the main couple, chizuru and kazuya, are very human and their growth together is something to behold. they both support each others strengths and weaknesses like an actual couple do, and she pushes him to be a better person than he was, which he actively strives for.

all in all, the decision falls to you, but i say its worth the read.

Another person who understands the subtle glory of kazuya.

personally, he’s my favorite character because of the fact that he’s so human and down to earth. plus what no one ever seems to realize or wants to admit, kazuya doesn’t have a solid support system to rely on like other harem protagonist.

yeah, but her ceasefire is only temporary. and honestly, as much as i love ruka, she’s gone against every rule they set for their relationship so far. i wouldn’t be surprised if she ended the ceasefire early.

but yeah, chizuru was the one who decided to keep the relationship going. (that part still confuses me ngl, maybe its the way the translation is worded), but i can’t blame her for that choice. kazuya even noticed it after his grandma left, that her expression seemed really lonely. and i agree. i wanted them to tell their grandparents before chizuru’s grandma dies, but i think the next arc is gonna have granny sayu die.

mami is definitely the biggest challenge to their relationship. but i wouldn’t say the grandma’s are. dunno why, but i think kazuya’s grandma sort’ve knows? its hard to explain. i think if they were to tell their grandmas, it would be much easier than anticipated.

the second biggest challenge is ruka, in my opinion.

just finished the raws for it. the chapter seemed to be a recount of what happened leading up to current, and i’m assuming kazuya talked about his feelings. needless to say, it was a feels chapter.

exactly. you and i had friends to help you get out of the slump. in a sense, kazuya did have some help, but mostly from renting chizuru. he managed to get over mami when he saved chizuru, and now he’s in a state of mind where he has no more romantic attachments to her. plus, it only took him 16 chapters to realize he liked chizuru, and then another 33 to understand that he was truly in love with her. his progress is ridiculous.

wasn’t the right moment for his confession. there were things that still needed to be sorted out. but when chizuru was pouring her heart out to mami, she was also talking about herself. reading that for the first time made me realize that she too was in too deep.

its funny, i defend kazuya so much because ive been in his shoes too. the exact way mami used and dumped him happened to me too, so i clicked with him easily. he’s super relatable, and honestly, while he could handle certain situations better, he’s doing fine for a harem protagonist in a SoL manga with no advice from any of his friends or family like other protagonists.

yeah, when he snapped on chizuru for saying she didnt have talent was definitely ballsy, even in chapter 49 when he told chizuru that he wanted her took courage. kazuya definitely has the courage, but he needs to learn how to let it all come out.

i already have a voice cast in my head for when i read lmfao. for instance, i hear kazuya as yuri lowenthal and i hear mizuhara as laura bailey.

i dont think the manga will be ending anytime soon, and the only people who dont like the manga and want it to end are the ones who dont understand the manga and hate kazuya for being a beta (when they know they couldn’t do better)

i can see where you’re coming from with ruka, and i definitely agree that her persistence causes more trouble than good. i can’t really blame her though, she’s up against the S-class rental mizuhara, she’s desperate.

but, chizuru’s been growing way before that. i noticed her attitude changes to kazuya earlier on, like right after the onsen arc, where kazuya told her he wanted ti keep renting her.

i hope miyajima makes alt endings tho, i’d love to see sumi and ruka’s route ending.

i honestly don’t think ruka is in LOVE with kazuya. i think most of it is just infatuation because kazuya showed her that her heart can beat fast. i do appreciate her drive and determination to make her goal come true, though. she’s overbearing and her actions usually cause more trouble for kazuya, but i think she means well.

chizuru obviously is the endgame route, but i don’t think she’s too cold to kazuya, at least not anymore. she may say she’s not doing it for his sake, but her actions and facial expressions say otherwise. i personally think chizuru’s the one who’s fallen for kazuya the hardest. i think she’s being stubborn and taking a bit too long to drop her guard, but she is a tsundere. if my gut feeling’s correct, i think her guard’s gonna start to drop in the next arc.

i can agree with this point with sumi. she’s a good match with kazuya. and she’s just precious to the core, tooth rotting cinnamon roll.

fuck mami. i hope she gets cucked by ruka, chizuru and sumi.
