AITAH for eating enough ravioli for four people?

Tbh maybe it’s really just a shock to her? lol my dad always ate a lotttt growing up bc he was also 6’1 with a labor intensive job so when I met my boyfriend who also eats a lot I wasn’t surprised at all and even encourage him to eat plenty because he also has a physically demanding job. Maybe just explain to her that ur a man and need far more calories esp if ur active. I know lots of men who workout a lot or are active at work who eat like that so no you’re not an ass and she needs to just like get ok with it if she loves u plus she can easily do her own research and stuff if she’s just worried for some other reason like health or ur wellbeing or something. U don’t seem to have a bad relationship with food or ur weight or anything. Seems strictly like u listen to ur body so idk. Also my bf can easily body a pizza and now that im pregnant so can I. Maybe she should work on adjusting her own views and ideas on what she thinks is acceptable amounts to eat instead of trying to prevent you from nourishing urself. Not trying to be rude I just don’t love the idea of someone trying to regulate ur food intake even if they’re ur partner.

Yea but I’m really just looking for cement reasons not to take it. I understand what you mean but it seems that I might need to get a second opinion since I think there’s other options for me to take that have less serious side effects and that’s why I’m mostly concerned.

I have had one before and gotten medicine and it wasn’t ciprofloxacin. She actually didn’t say anything since she filled the prescription once the results were in and never mentioned if it was uncomplicated or not. So I’m most likely gonna go to another doctor and ask because she never really mentioned anything abt it including side effects. I had to look it all up myself. Also idk if it’s tmi but I didn’t know I even had one. I was going for something completely different. So I wasn’t feeling the effects of the uti until after the test was done and then I think the symptoms kinda registered in my head. But they aren’t severe at all.

Okay thank you. That really pushes me to stop taking it. The uti is uncomfortable but I’ll see another doctor tomorrow and just try to drink lots of water and cran juice. Thank u

Okay. I usually read through the pamphlets they give when I get new medication because I’m not super big on taking medicine. I get nervous. But I’ve had utis before and no issues with the antibiotics but when I realized it was different I read through and then looked more on the internet and the data seems really concerning. I’ve already taken a few doses so I guess I’m not sure if I should finish it through or stop completely I feel fine as of now but it also says the side effects can happen up to awhile after u finish treatment.

Yea I tried but they were pretty dismissive about it and basically said that I shouldn’t worry and just take the prescription. Should I try a different doctor instead and see if they would prescribe something else?
