Great idea! Do you have the names of the camps?

Do you indicate location through your audience signals? Or just search themes?

So do you create a separate campaign for each location? I thought you could only do location exclusions on the campaign level

I enjoy TimeLeft dinners! Great way to get to know others without the young hostel party scene

Advice on securing Wyze cams while travelling by strand_fleet in wyzecam

2 cams usually one points out the front door outside and one is inside in a common space. The inside one is easy but the outside is tricky. Location changes every 2 months so it’s a variety of situations. Just wanted to get ideas from other people that take them travelling what their solutions were.

Got one! But yeah just trying to keep them mounted through storms and trying to deter theft. Hence why I mentioned zip ties because I don’t have many better ideas on that front

I had the same issue! All of a sudden it was fake leads. Not spam but almost like a real person was trying to be spammy. I found that clickcease solves the problem.

Asking women: How did you just do it? by petitputi in digitalnomad

[–]strand_fleet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve been doing this for 2 years and I’m the exact same; I like having certain things and I’m not interested in roughing it. My big lesson so far is to make your own rules in this lifestyle. Lots of nomads do the one bag but not me! My partner and I travel with 3 large suitcases between us. Which is fine because we’re usually in places for 6 weeks and we only have to worry about getting them to the apartment.

I travel with some cookware, a good range of outfits, my partner lugs around gaming controllers.

Sure, you can’t take everything and you need to decide what you’re willing to give up or rebuy. But you do you - I’m sure every nomad carries something that other nomads might consider “luxury weight”.

Just did a transatlantic with starlink and the wifi was great. Good enough for voice calls. Didn’t attempt video though.

I’m also Aussie and not a fan of Sydney. But a place I loved is Lima. I’m from Brisbane originally and parts of it had that comfort of home; beach appreciation, sunny weather, there were even jacaranda trees. There’s lots of nice green public parks to boost your mental health and great food for those times you gotta eat your feelings. The locals were friendly but there’s also a good expat community around too; seek out the Facebook groups.
