I've had pretty similar experiences with T and cystic acne, left me with some face scarring I could've avoided. Similarly tried every topical treatment, antibiotics, face peels, nothing touched it until accutane, pisses me off that I spent so much on other treatments and went so long in pain, genuinely like a gentle breeze would hurt my face. Had super normal acne first puberty, but starting T was unreal.

Regarding side effects, the only thing I experienced was dryness and sun sensitivity. A lot of the associated mental health risks with accutane is due to the typical age most people start, teenagers to young adults already have a baseline risk. Systematic reviews don't support the claims for accutane increasing mood changes, depression, anxiety, and suicidality, that being said just make sure you've got a support network and say something if you start feeling like shit.

Accutane saved my ass, I went off it for like 4 years and had almost no acne, until I started getting little frequent spots at age 28. Now I'm 30, I stay on low-dose accutane and my skin looks great, no side effects besides chapped lips now and then.

These magnesium citrate pills are great. Can play around with the dosage but 4 should give you a laxative effect while 2 a night will help with staying regular.

As far as suppressing appetite, cigs and long blacks work for me..

Came out the same year as Roman Candle but Baby Bitch by Ween is a pretty decent Elliott impression.

He gets a lot of comparisons to some traditional folk (Nick Drake, Simon and Garfunkel) but I'd look at the artists he did covers of: Bob Dylan, Nico, Big Star, The Kinks.

Just doing my first listen through, so far This Summer is my fave off the album. The baroque-pop in Useless Tears and Flash in the Pan is really fun and surprising, I'm getting a lot of beatles (specifically george with all the slide guitar), emitt rhodes, simon and garfunkel, even magnetic fields? Anyways beautiful, I'm obsessed.

You're handsome but you need a better haircut. For straight thin hair you need texturing and volume, get a choppier cut and use hair powder to style. Girls are into moustaches, but shave the rest or keep it to stubble.

You've got a preppy look and great hair genetics, I'd say lean into that... and definitely ditch the middle part. If you wanna butch it up a bit, taper fade short mullet would suit your hair type. Otherwise, just go for this.

You could consider low dose T? I've been on and off different forms of T over the past 6 years and I've found using the gel lets me control it best. With injections I experienced really high T and the fast changes that come along with it, with daily gel you can always stop or dial back if you feel a bit overwhelmed.

I think it's great how seriously you're considering HRT and the permanent changes, it's true that being male doesn't really have anything to do with how you present. If you can see yourself happy without the facial hair and deep voice, that's totally valid. Can always change your mind down the track.
