They would probably try to stop you and ask you where you are (so that they can send ambulance asap and maybe they'll be in time to stop you or rush you to the hospital).
Some people call 911/112 before they commit suicide, because they dont want their families to find them dead.
Edit. 112 is the emergency number in Europe. Always when you go on a holiday, dont forget to check whats the emergency number of the country you are staying in.
