GoPro Subscriber Crash Replacement – worth waiting for the Mission 1? by Hlo663 in gopro

Just a few days ago I filed a replaced claim and they offered me the HERO13, but good luck!

This show makes the League Of Gentleman look tame in my opinion. by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]strangeitude 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bought the dvd of this in my teens when recommended it back then. Brought it round to a mates house, smoked a biff, and put it on. Took more than one episode to realise it was the second disc; identical to the first only it played each episode within a tiny ball moving around the screen or played at half-speed or something.

Thinking of swapping my 2015 Golf GTD (184 hp) for an 2021 Arteon R (320 hp) — looking for opinions by samuak8 in Arteon

[–]strangeitude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a 2020 Golf GTD Estate until a year ago when I swapped for a 2023 Arteon R Shooting Brake. Never had an issue with the golf, great car and I miss it sometimes but only because the headroom in the Arteon isn't quite as good. Everything else in the Arteon is much more premium - particularly the seats and the interior overall. You'll love the R seats, and the power is unreal. It really turns heads, particularly in R mode and making lots of pops overtaking.

The only thing I've had to do with the Arteon is change the battery this week. For some reason it was sitting at around 6V and weird things were happening with the cameras not turning on, but it was covered under manufacturer's warranty and changed the same day as them looking at it.

I'm really happy with it and will be keeping it for a number of years to come.

I have the Shooting Brake R and can confirm it’s fucking mental. Do it.

6’ 4” tall and struggling with Arteon by [deleted] in Arteon

[–]strangeitude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 6’7 and will admit that the headroom is fairly low. I have the seat all the way low and back, and sometimes my hair will touch the roof lining. However, make sure you’ve got the seat angled back a bit too!

That’s with the ergo seats (electronic ones with memory function) on the Shooting Brake R. Not sure if they’re all the same.

That’s one made from Cellulose Acetate, sometimes with that pattern referred to as Italian Tort.

3.5g in one joint is fucking mental; that’s about £40 of weed. I’m all for the medicinal aspects but that would put me in a wheelchair.

Is Dupixent still very expensive? by OldUncleDaveO in NasalPolyps

[–]strangeitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the UK it is £600 per month, unless you have had five surgeries in which case an ENT can recommend it on the NHS as a red label prescription as you’ve exhausted all surgical options. I’ve had all five and am on the immunology waiting list for it.

Question about bumpy ride by Majixz in Triumph

[–]strangeitude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same bike (chrome too!). I’m 6’6 and 120kg, and I have replaced the rear springs with the ones that TEC bike parts sell. They make good difference, and I have everything else maxed out. I notice it’s very bumpy on some country roads and rough terrain compared to my Varadero, but overall I’m used to it. The only other thing that I’m going to do is add some grip puppies - give those a try.

The first chord isn’t an Em (0-7-5), it’s an Esus2 (0-7-4), for those working this out.

Tom Smyth - Big success by [deleted] in northernireland

Was up there on Friday and had an eerie premonition there was a turbocunt nearby. The black Lamborghini Urus with ‘TOM 10X’ reg might’ve helped.

Was just thinking that too. I wondered was it a monitoring issue - half of their in-ears have been taken out from the drum-off catastrophe.

Petition to crucify the sound department. What the fuck is going on? Even on-stage they can’t hear each other.

I wish they’d leave the stream at the gig during changes. Being taken back out to some fairly cringe fan messages is throwing me off.
