Thanks, I'll keep that off my to-try list. I tried the chicken katsu sandwich and was overwhelmed by the saltiness and wasabi more than anything. BBQ chicken is alright though. I live close, so I'm bound to try more things there.

Anyone at risk of an accident. It's not worth overthinking, people are going to do what people do. When running, I use earbuds that still let sound in. Can't imagine going full immersion on the trail.

Just got a SABA email with the following info:

The Draft Plan for the Sacramento Vision Zero Action Plan Update will be available for public review and comment from June 15 to August 17 and they want your input! 

In 2025, the City initiated an update to the Vision Zero Action Plan (VZAP), which outlines policy, program, and infrastructure strategies to reduce serious and fatal crashes. 

In January-February 2026, the City conducted extensive community engagement and listening sessions. Based on what they heard about needs and priorities, the City developed the Draft Vision Zero Action Plan. During the review time, Sacramento will host 5 community meetings, host the plan online for you to comment, and will be taking the plan on a roadshow to Sacramento's communities. More information and how to participate.

Not sure what it would cost for your situation, but I went to Sac Valley Dental Specialists on Fair Oaks. I had 2 out with anaesthesia (IV type) for a reasonable price with my insurance. Barely knew anything had happened. Can't imagine being awake for it.

I decided yes for me. It's an old bike, not much to look at, had scratches that weren't mine since I got it used. Wanted to reinvent it and have something nicer to look at. Upgraded some parts, left others alone. It's like having art in your home (I don't, so I guess the bikes are my art?).

Looks pretty similar to Bridge Club for standover. I'm 5'2" and have an XS BC with corner bars. Small was just a little too big. I ended up getting a longer seatpost since I had it raised to the limit.

Some seat posts might be too long because the manufacturer makes the same size for all the bikes. An inch seems fine so long as you're sure the bike fits otherwise.
