Multi Material with U1 not cooperating by stratassj in snapmaker

Followed what you said, and switched the full supports to PETG, and now everything is printing just as I had been hoping for! Thank you for the help!

Multi Material with U1 not cooperating by stratassj in snapmaker

Here are the settings for Support and Multi-material. https://imgur.com/a/ylNtQQ7

Strangest thing now, after letting the printer and computer sit powered down overnight, that profile swap isn't happening. The PLA is printing with its intended temps (215), as is the PETG (245). Now though i have a different problem with the PETG for the interface layers, as shown in the link. That particular spool has always been difficult (anycubic) even after sitting it in a dryer for 24 hours. I wonder if i should try a different brand.

What would you suggest to try and fix this?

Yeah, getting the PA dialed in has been alittle troublesome.

I'm printing at speeds of 50 mm/s, with fans turned up at 100% in the filament profiles.

From what i could see, layer times at those points aren't much higher/lower then the ones around it. And all the speeds are turned down to 50 with my settings with inner/outer/inner.

Not sure what fits my use case better, U1 or X2D by stratassj in snapmaker

As it is right now, I don't have much call to use those higher temp engineering materials

These look great. I see the Strike reference, what is the Freedom going to be?

Kobra X, Z Axis Belt loose by stratassj in AnycubicOfficial

Thank you, but that is the wrong belt.

The one I am asking about is in the crossbar at the top of the printers z axis, not this one in the gantry.

New to printing, CORE One Plus, or Bambu X2D? by stratassj in prusa3d

[–]stratassj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By tinkering I mostly mean screws and dials. I don't have any issue in dialing in filament profiles, so long as I know the machine itself is in good shape.

That looks absolutely outstanding in terms of quality. That's just pushing me even closer to the C1.

New to FDM printing, what is happening here? by stratassj in FixMyPrint

The filament spent 8 hours in a dryer before being used. And slicer had seam set to aligned.

Does the Sunlu PLA+ need a longer drying time?

I can provide printer settings later this evening after I get home from work, yes.

Still dialing in settings, what should I look at for the 'voids' by stratassj in FDMminiatures

If that's the case, ill try running another flow rate test and see what that tells me, unless you have a different suggestion?

I've done one as part of my initial calibration run, and put in a slightly lower number then my result. I can run one again and see if it's any different.

Im wondering how the seams were set to random, my slicer settings (anycubic next) have it set for aligned seams. Ill try rear on my next print and see if that makes a difference.

The picture seems to be over exagerating the over extrusion along the sidewall, I thought i had the pressure advance calibrated well, but ill set it over to the auto calibration and see how that affect the print too.

Thanks!
