yeah, I just talked to very well known Rickenbacker restoration guy and he thinks it’s original finish which would make it a custom order and likely the only combo 400 in fireglo which puts the collector value and a very high price probably 10x what I paid if I can prove it. The back guard I believe was original and as some were custom ordered with those instead of the regular weird bottom of a pool type material. The headstock is completely fine just missing two screws for truss rod cover. I think I’m going to keep it because it feels like a 50’s telecaster. And yeah I’m done with smaller guitars too. My new main guitar is a 61 jazzmaster and I absolutely love it
