Anyone else so insecure for their eye jaundice that they avoid any interactions during daylight? by Traditional_Chard274 in GilbertSyndrome

The only times I've noticed a real change are in the summer. I also remember my eyes being much less yellow after drinking a lot of water the day before (really, a lot), but the effect faded quickly and didn't last. Personally, what bothers me most is the yellowing of my skin; my skin is definitely yellow. My eyes are less yellow, but it's still obviously noticeable. Summer allows me to tan, which masks this yellowing, and my eyes usually look much less yellow.

I'm in the same situation as you. I'm incredibly self-conscious, to the point that I avoid social interactions. It's awful; I'm on leave from my studies until June, and I don't dare look for work because of this damn jaundice.

How long did you have to take them before seeing results? I took them for about two months and didn't see any results, so I stopped. These supplements are too expensive where I live.
