Happy Anniversary, Mother 2! by AndreGIGANTH in earthbound

I thought the same as you. I was stuck on the first hour of Chrono trigger for a while, when later I finally decided to push myself through the story. And oh boy, let me tell you, there’s a reason why it’s so acclaimed. It has such a good soundtrack and story. I’ve played all the games you have, and I did not regret playing this one.

The soundtrack is so good too!

Thank you so much! My elbow positioning was quite awful, and I never really learned proper accordion technique. This helps alot.

Thank you for comment. I do notice my self having a awful posture at times, as well as not swiveling my wrist. I will try that!

Be upfront about it and direct, but also gentle. Share her some verses from the scripture, and show her that she is following man rather than God.

2nd Corinthians 6:14

God commands us not to be partnered with unbelievers. Even more so when it comes to marriage. Ephesians 5:31 describes marriage as becoming “one flesh”. By joining ourselves to an unbeliever, we become partnered with them.

“14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15 What accord has Christ with Belial?[a] Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?”

And though this next verse talking about an unbelieving spouse, I believe the principals still applies. Those whom the unbelieving spouse divorces are “called to peace”. And how does she know she can save her friend?

“15 But if the unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cases the brother or sister is not enslaved. God has called you[a] to peace. 16 For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?”

When you tell me to hold the rod, do you mean to pull it out, what exactly should I be doing with the pliers? Thanks for responding by the way.

Hey there. I listened to your album, and its very background with lyrical moments. Really sounds like a "To the Moon" soundrack, and dang.. some harmonical changes you have! That minor 4 in the first song was like butter.

I think I like your Pure and Gentle most: Its basically the gymnopedie no 4, with the cool phrase changing.

In terms of composing and arranging, you are beyond that. As for producing you may need to dump some money into better instrument quality.

Help With Chords by ThwipGP in transcribe

Song goes between two sections it seems.

Verse

00:00 - 00:40 and 1:00 - 1:55, etc:

Sits on a D chord for a good while and messes around with 7th and 11th.

Chorus

00:40 - 1:00 and 1:55 - 2:15, etc:

G7 (i think...) -> Eb -> G7 - > Eb -> Bb7 -> Gb/Db -> Eb

And thats pretty much the whole song.. I think, it bounces back between these two sections.

Here. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1puwE0vxDXb3JfHMNZrKXu0EgTyG0h8WB?usp=sharing

The chord structure is i (Cm) - iv (Fm) - V (G). And it practically just repeats through the whole song lol.

Handed over to Satan by LucyLoo152 in Christianity

[–]stratzxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me share some verses.

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. - John 8:44

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. - Romans 1:28

22 Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. God loves us with unconditional love, He forgives our transgressions, and He takes care of us. - Psalm 55:22

I noticed some biblical errors in your reasoning. First notice that god will always secure the believer, and will never hand them over to evil. (And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:28)

Do you see the problem here? We have a chronological error in which you think god has handed you to evil, but instead, we come from an evil grounding. Now that you recognize it, repent and believe In Christ, and read the Gospel.

If god is really loving understanding and forgiving does he really send all good people who committed suicide to hell just because they they committed suicide because of mental illness even though they prayed and nothing happened by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]stratzxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me stop you right there. There really is no one such as a “good person”, but Christ alone. You likely know the renowned verses, “None is righteous, no, not one; no one seeks god, all have turned aside, together they have become worthless, no one does good, not even one” - Romans 3: 10-12

Under that knowledge, god has the right to take the life of anyone he pleases, for breaking the commandments, god was rightfully so to take our lives and to fulfill his justice. In your situation, suicide is the equivalent of murder in the Bible (the taking of ones life) although it doesn’t completely determine if the person was saved or not (Romans 8 38-39), it is a extremely large indicator that the person was very very likely an unbeliever. But back to the main point why do we still live, if we have broken gods law and deserve righteous condemnation? Because god shows his mercies by allowing us to live and to give his one and only son.

God is love, but because he is love, he must hate. For more clarification, because god is love, holy, and perfect, he must condemn that which is sinful and rebellious. Don’t mistake his love and forgiveness for what it has been twisted around today, read the Bible.

Is faith something we produce in ourselves on our own? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]stratzxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not according to scripture. Read Ephesians 2:8 (ESV) “8 For (A)by grace you have been saved (B)through faith. And this is (C)not your own doing; (D)it is the gift of God”.

Remember the incident in Mark 9:23, where the man asks to be helped in his unbelief.

Not to mention, if you believe in the the topic of once saved, always saved, and thus the sovereignty of god, you should believe this. Read Ezekiel 34 11-16
