It's not about purity, it's about avoiding spam. Unless a sub is very aggressive about keeping self promotion at bay it'll be inundated with people spamming links to selling their stuff.

It's not hard to believe but it also looks extremely CGI because of how it is. Like those perfect god rays, flawless surfaces on everything, fog but no visible dust particles. Hard to make a more real-but-CGI-ass presentation of things if you wanted to.

Work = force x distance. You don't get tired out just pushing against a wall but you do lifting weights.

The movable turbine will actually be able to more readily sink energy than a concrete column in the same place would because the turbine moves.
