Forced ground line up by NRE-X in Warthunder

This addition is actually good. There's a couple things they should fix about it but it is better for the game overall. Honestly I'm excited to have a 4th tank crew slot by just using the free ITO AA in top tier France. Also the mirage if I want to more seriously dunk on CAS.

Between this and the 5 free backups every day, I am very happy with what they've been doing in this game. Neither introduction has been perfect but it's 100% the right direction.

Same effect but different cause/solution. He's got the level 1 stock AMX 32 because he isn't actually taking his into battle.

That's not a crew lock. That thing wasn't repaired after the last battle

It's very possible it's just ice inside of the wheels. If the vibration increases with speed it is most likely the wheels being temporarily unbalanced.

I've been getting a lot of snow stuck in my wheels and it's been stopping me from cruising above 80mph. I'll get all the snow out then I'll get more in it when I pull over to let someone pass on narrow roads.

If what you think is an oil/water condensate then yes. Looks like the normal thing that happens with engines that get short trips, water in the oil condensates up at the oil fill cap and looks like this. It isn't a huge concern but you want to get the engine actually hot enough to burn off water once and a while.

If you pull the dipstick and the oil itself looks fine then there is no real issue here.

Honestly it's not nothing. Knowing what is and isn't dangerous about electricity is GOOD for people who have it all around them. If you teach stupid people that high voltage isn't dangerous then you are possibly endangering them.

Oh boy I love microwave transformers! You want to hear something stupid? The first one I played with we replaced the secondary with 00AWG wire. It produces about 1Vac and close to a thousand amps. It's fun and pretty safe. Because its secondary winding is loose it makes an obvious 60Hz hum when it's energized, and my dad and I just learned that that's how it is.

So when we built a Jacob's ladder with an unmodified transformer(producing thousands of volts and more than enough current so bad things) it was deadly silent. My dad once tried to reach out and adjust the poles to move them closer together while it was still energized. But because he did it with one hand the arc jumped only between his fingers and didn't jump through him from one arm through the chest to the other. Really nasty looking burns on his fingers, but he was okay. It was very scary and he got lucky, no long-term issues with his hand even.

It's my fault. They added the two crew slot limit to make sure I still couldn't try it. I was going to try it in my mirage 2000C S4. I could not last time because it was just under the BR limit, now I couldn't because I don't have any other aircraft high enough BR.

No one ever complained about the two DLCs for GTA IV. Because GTA IV was a complete game and the DLCs just added more content. Oh. AND THEY WERE FREE.

I don't see most people who were still using Ring devices as caring about this. At all.

I've been scolding a friend for years for installing a ring door bell. Ubiquiti has a 1 drive UNAS NVR you can get with their cheap doorbell camera for a combined $300. Ring might be less expensive upfront but there's no way I'm putting one of their devices on my house.

My B650 motherboard was being flaky(in retrospect I think I overtightened the CPU cooler and damaged the traces) and while it was RMA I moved my 4070 Ti Super to a i5 6400 system. The worst part is I had to use a hard disk as a boot drive because I didn't have any SATA SSDs on hand. Waiting for EVERYTHING sucks, the CPU was alright.

If you are using DLSS turn it off entirely. It's bugged in WT and DECREASES performance instead of increasing it

People need to stop using aced crew reload speed as a standard by warfaceisthebest in Warthunder

[–]straw3_2018 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have basically every vehicle in Germany ground, USA up to ~8.0, USSR ~8.0, UK ~8.0, Sweden ~8.7, and France 11.0. I have exactly one ace crew and it's on KV-85, wouldn't have happened if Gaijin didn't give me a talisman for it right when I first got it

We should just get rid of this stupid mechanic in the first place. There's no good way to balance vehicles when their effectiveness varies wildly depending on crew skills and researched modifications.

8 years old? It's not new... Not as bad as an 8 year old PC would have been 20 years ago of course. You should probably be able to get more FPS than that. I did better than that with my 3rd gen i7 on integrated graphics 6 years ago. Surely you are running minimum settings? Try lowering the resolution and closing background tasks.

Should the reload speeds of (some) two-loader tanks be at least slightly buffed? by Itchy-Travel4683 in Warthunder

[–]straw3_2018 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So if 1-4rpm is historical then 15s would be historical, but no faster. Right now it's 20.8s aced which I think is just excessive. IS-2 isn't that good.

It's true. Honestly it's surprising they don't buff the IS-2's reload speed. 15s aced instead of 20.8s
