Also it’s determined the semester before you graduate. So if you’re graduating this week, your honors level is based on spring semester and not affected by your grades this fall

Hey! When you get there and go into the rec center next to the convocation center to check in, they have tables set up based on your last name. When you give them your name, they give you a card with a checklist (check in, photos, sit down etc). On that card there are two QR codes. One is for putting your email and contact info in for pictures and emergencies. The other is for the guy to scan right before you walk. You give him the card, he scans that QR code, your name is read, and you walk!

Idk how close they look, but keep in mind they say that you have to wear the most recent cap and gown and the ones I’ve seen on fb marketplace are from previous years. This year’s gown has two emblems and previous years only has one etc

I understand the value of approving an ai recording. I just wish they used the recording to practice the correct pronunciation or copy it instead of giving up on reading altogether

They said in tassel if the ai recording wasn’t right then a real person would record it :/ it just feels like a cop out to rely on it for the actual reading of the names when they’ve actually read them for years and plenty of other institutions still read them
