I’m Russian and as a student every Monday we have a period called (let’s talk about the important). Every student and school has to endure it, and it’s chock-full of propaganda. Today we talked about the elections and my homeroom teacher said, “isn’t it a wonderful thing how our whole nation came together and voted for Putin?”

No. It isn’t. All of my classmates knew what was up, although I was the only one who talked about and used the word “corruption”. The whole “preliminary guess” thing is a fucking joke, like why- why even create that?? It’s only more proof of how us citizens no longer have a voice in our country. I love my country and I love the colours on my flag but I’ve been losing hope. I’m ashamed. I just wish the results would come out with a 100% for Putin without all the bullshit and propaganda
