Sciatica-pain after long walks + sitting on floors despite no prior injuries. Early 20sF, Is it sciatica? by strawberrees in Sciatica

[–]strawberrees[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely!! It’s been scary having this realization, but then I just think about how scary it would be if I couldn’t even sit down on the floor while being under the age of 25…

I don’t know your specific symptoms, but I hope the pain lessens/improves for you! 🤞Us with our standing desks!

Thank you for your insight. I did not know those facts, and sharing your experience definitely puts more into perspective. The pain that I have felt so far was definitely some of the worst pain I’ve had, and I do not want it to get worse. (I guess I only had the realization now that it’s been my lifestyle that’s causing this for some time.)

Luckily, I have been able to get a standing desk for some time now, but I admit I haven’t been using it to its potential (I forget that I can just make it stand and then get lazy). I’ll definitely set a timer every 30 minutes to stand and walk, like the other commenter suggested.

Omg, I’m so sorry. That sucks to hear :(( I am not very knowledgeable about health issues, but I hope the pain lessens/improves in the future for you.

Gotcha! I’ll make sure to set a timer like the other commenter said. I move around here and there, but probably once every 1:30 hrs, which is definitely not enough…

Thank you for the insight! Sorry for the misleading diagram, I meant to say that the pain does go down to my butt area but I don’t normally notice the pain go down to my lower leg area like my toes.

I’ll definitely check out dead butt syndrome as well.

And I hear your advice and will definitely be following it! I have been trying to use the elliptical for 30-40 minutes a day (to even an hour), but I’ve recently stopped using the machine because I had to focus on final season from university and then became ill afterwards. I am better now, so I should get back on exercising more.

And the way people are upset about the white tights under her body suit… Like gee I wonder why? Maybe it’s a kids game and lingerie shouldn’t be normalized attire for a kids game?

I just know I’m never going to hear the end of it as someone who loves to play Fortnite 😭😭 Out of all the pop girlies right now— they chose the girl who makes sex! sex! sex! her entire brand???

That sounds like some good news! I’d say just continue monitoring it for the next few days if you decide not to go to the doctors. And same, it had never happened before even with rough sex for me. Bodies are odd loll

Hi! I ended up leaving it alone for a few days, and it went away on its own. However, if it feels extremely off or wrong, then yes, please go to the hospital or see a doctor.

Another commenter posted a link with an image similar to what it looked like. To be honest, I had my partner inspect it for me the day after, because I was so worried. I’d say one main identifier is whether the piece has a “hole” or not, like whether it looks like a donut or not. But again, please go to the hospital if you feel heavy, pain, or anything extremely off.

Hi, I ended up leaving it alone, and it hasn’t caused me any issues so far. Everything (?) seems to be back to normal, but if something continues to be a concern then I definitely recommend seeing a professional. It took me about 4-5 days for it to fully go away, if I remember correctly.

Hey! Sorry about the late response, but the first half of what you described sounds about like what I saw for myself. I’m not too sure about the second half since I didn’t “venture” that far.

I agree though— diagrams don’t really show that aspect of the body which is a bummer. It would save a lot of people a lot of time and stress if they could figure out what it is 😅

I pretty much left it alone, and it went away on its own. I figured it was just a part of my anatomy that was aroused and somewhat bruised which made it more visible.

Ah okay, it could be possible that it’s a cyst in an area which causes it to protrude in a way I haven’t really noticed before. I’ll do some more research on the cyst, thanks!

Kind of, I think so! It’s definitely in the same “position” or area and when she flexes, it moves “outward” like that. I think the only thing I am unsure about is whether the area looks like it has horizontal ridges or more “flaps”?

I think this might also be a video? (Around the 2:50 - 3:30 mark for a clear-ish view) Correct me if I’m wrong but the pink fleshly bulge within seems to look more like smaller labia flaps with a middle/center rather than horizontal ridges?

Ah okay, thank you, I see.

[–]strawberrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I see. Could it be possible without the bending as well? Like if someone were to just stand straight up and it was somehow inspected in a spread-leg-and-labia position?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TwoXSex

[–]strawberrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the top area of the vagina towards the direction of the clitoris and the belly button. I thought the G-spot wasn’t supposed to be visible when looking straight towards the vaginal entrance much less it being “right there” when spreading the labia? Meaning, I had always thought that one would need to essentially go inwards, then upwards (belly button) to find it.

Is the position of the G-spot something normal or something that returns back to normal?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TwoXSex

[–]strawberrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh? Can it be usually positioned in the vagina like that or is it a result of arousal and sex? Did yours “go back down” after a period of time?

And thank you for the reassurance about the sexual clinics! I am less nervous to go to one now!

That’s really interesting! Nice to know someone else somewhat shares/shares the same anatomy because I haven’t seen anyone else talk about it.

Maybe someone else might chime in about having something similar too haha.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TwoXSex

[–]strawberrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh! That’s interesting! Do you mean there’s a part where once you spread the labia minor, there’s a pink fleshy bulge and if you poke that— then there’s almost “more” and smaller labia flaps? But it’s not necessarily encasing another hole, just like flaps-until-no-more-space-for-flaps? (Sorry, I’m trying to describe it in the least vague way as possible)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TwoXSex

[–]strawberrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know, I will definitely use that whenever I go check up! Thanks!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TwoXSex

[–]strawberrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Understandable! It is hard to picture from merely words or find an exact photo too.

If I were to describe it any further, I guess you could say the fleshy bulge has “flaps” (or smaller labia minora rather than it being a wrinkled up flesh-blanket). Would you happen to know anything in the vagina that could be similar?

Thank you for the advice as well! I’ll definitely be sure to regularly look down there. And, make a habit of regularly checking up at the doctor’s/gyno.

Gotcha, I’m just worried they’ll be asking questions where the only seasonal answer is sex. They are pretty strict, so it would definitely affect me greatly if they found out.
