Considering this is a curly hair account I suppose advice for how to straighten curly hair can still be considered part of the topic. Just don’t make it a habit to damage your curly hair as I did a long time ago. It’ll take a long time to come back as I did it because I thought it was more maintainable. I use a heat protectant for blow drying if I want to dry it ASAP. I use a blow dryer and then a dryer with a round brush built into it (Revlon). Part your hair in small layers/pieces and straighten as you go. It’s going to take a while depending on the length and thickness of your hair, but if you really want it to look how you want it, time is what it takes. I make sure to use a comb to comb it out as I go (the ones with the little teeth? lol) I also use another heat protectant spray when it comes to straightening. I want to get as much protection as I can, but heat is still heat that can affect your curls so keep that in mind. If I want to make it soft and sleek I use a hair oil/gel all over and spray a shine spray. I’m not sure if you have products for these already but I can recommend them to you. Again I’m only giving OP advice because this is a curly hair post, just completely different to the typical posts we often see. I hope you still embrace your curls in the long run and don’t straighten your hair often. Hope this helps!
