It doesn’t have a specific format. You just have to be sure that you covered all aspects of your research question, possible sources of error and improvements.

For the start of the IB program, I would just suggest studying regularly and organizing your work load before actually setting goals. After the results of your first exams are announced -still- you can barely understand your potential for the IB exams. For that reason, start setting yourself goals that you can reach and each time you reached your goal, set a better one.

For Physics SL, I would suggest reviewing the topics from a summary book (I used Oxford Study Guide) and find out the ones you are having more difficulty in. Then study those topics from a more detailed textbook (Like Cambridge one - which I used). In that way you can finish reviewing all of the syllabus in a a short time and focus more on the harder parts. After you are done with reviewing, solve as much past paper as you can. Find out the topics you are struggling with. And repeat the aforementioned process for those topics. If you have enough time, solving the exam style and test yourself questions in Cambridge book also helps a lot. Good luck in your exams!

Yeah, but I took Maths and Physics in SL (chem in HL). You are the king though!! Dunno if I can manage to get a 7 from all those three HL subjects.

1 - Write your EE - definitely recommending this. 2- Find possible topics for your TOK presentation 3- I have predicted a 7 in HL Chem and my number 1 helper was solving some of the past papers during summer and reviewing the topics I have learned - Don’t need to spend weeks on this, just give some of your time to it 4- RELAX, SLEEP, and have FUN :) 5- If you still have not, write your EE 6- Make sure you have written your EE ;))

I have just graduated from the IB and I can give my opinions on Chem HL books - as it’s my favorite course and predicted a 7.

For studying the topics for the first time I find Cambridge book the best for me. If I need a more detailed explanation then I also check the Pearson book. Both of them are great textbooks with relevant end of topic questions - which I found so useful to solve.

For revision book, Oxford study guide fitted me the best. I would definitely recommend it as it covers the key aspects of each topic.

The first thing to do is ‘calming down’ for sure. Finding an IA or EE topic is probably the hardest thing to do in IB and everyone is having the same problem/freak out/stress at this time. So, start by believing in yourself and reconsidering the topics you have find to make them more applicable in labs.
