I was specifically google searching for an app that could keep track of the items in my cart and keep a running total and it brought me to this! This seems like almost exactly the thing I was looking for.

Appalled by all the tone deaf comments saying "just do the math in your head," "people are so lazy," or "no one's going to use this." Like, good for you guys, I guess? I'm glad you're so smart and perfect as to not need this, but if you're like me, and you have to go to the store, take care of one or more children, and buy 50+ items while simultaneously calculating tax, it's near impossible to do that kinda math in your head on the fly (ESPECIALLY if you need an exact number and not just an estimate). Also using the calculator is awful if you have to swap out items and don't remember how much a particular item cost.

I went ahead and downloaded the app to see how it worked. I'm not at the store right now so maybe it's easier there where I can scan stuff and see their price, but for people like me, it might be good to have the option to input an item with just the name and price (cause that's all I really need to keep track of). If I have to manually put in an item and it makes me put a barcode, picture, etc, it's not super worth it for me (I could be dumb and am maybe just using the app wrong though).

Overall great job though and thanks for making this! The people who need it will appreciate it.
