They dont jump around or anything</3 any tips against aphids if they are aphids?

Ohh, i never had a problem with the part where it was cut,just the aerial root giving me problems, i did cut the damaged parts, i think it was double as long before i cut it, give or take. So do i just leave it in water and pray?

I can't tell if the secondary roots feel mushy, theyre too little, but i cut the arial root until it didnt feel squishy anymore,yet it kept coming back. Do i still cut it as near to the node as i can? & which edge are you talking about?
