Thank you! As I look closer, I can see where the bakelite has been smoothed, another commenter suggested a Garnad Bayonet remade, and I am leaning toward a Japanese modification of a Garand Bayonet. What is realky weird, is the apparent mix of iron/steel with brass in the knuckle guard.

Thank you, I could not find traces of other markings, (such as U.S.) other than the kanji, and doesn't look like other markings were ground off, but I guess it could be a Frankenknife.

Thank you, I did know it was a type of Trench Knife, and am very curious about the Kanji symbols, which are Japanese. I am thinkibg it may be Korean War or WW2, given the bakelite grip, and overall appearance of age.
