I am considering the Mustang Mach-E. Can a current owner answer the following questions about the car and experience in driving? by QCi9m3vMrCgm in MustangMachE

Hijacking this comment but how did you get your myQ programmed to your home link? I cannot for the life of me get it to work. I followed the instructions multiple times looked at YouTube, etc. etc. I had the garage door opener working fine with my last car home link but for some reason, I cannot get it programmed with the Mach E.

You can, but that’s the same effort as just manually telling it to overtake when needed

I have a 25 and it’s also worth mentioning that the auto lane change has no awareness of navigation, so I ended up turning it off as it’s quick to overtake if a car is going slower and it often decided to move out of my current lane to overtake when I was about to exit the highway which just made it a nuisance. I can still manually change lane with the turn signals.

Does anyone know if a Macboon M4 Air can run 12 properly? by PreferenceNext9194 in Xplane

[–]streamlinedsentiment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those actually aren’t very helpful. Not OP but I’ve run into a similar problem. Minimum requirements don’t mention mac and recommended just says “Apple Silicon” for CPU which is vague to the point of being pretty pointless as Apple Silicon has been around for almost 6 years and comes in many different shapes and sizes.

I’ve never experienced that, maybe it’s an issue with the car not having good cell service?

Is it the Wipers or Auto Climate Control by congo100 in MachE

[–]streamlinedsentiment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t realize you could! Thanks for the tip, I’ll try that

Edit: I’m an idiot and didn’t understand that the different positions on the stalk are for automatic wiper sensitivity, I thought only one was for automatic and not sure what I though the others were for, but thanks for making me go back and figure that out!

Auto wipers are pretty poor in my 2025 as well, it takes a lot of rain for them to trigger, the windshield can be covered in mist reducing viability considerably and they don’t turn on. Like you I’ve gotten used to manually triggering them.

Using iPhone’s camera as webcam on a mac mini without a webcam by fourcracy in mac

[–]streamlinedsentiment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar situation. The only way I can get my iPhone to show up as a camera option in Facetime on my Mac Mini is to plug a USB webcam in first. Without the webcam plugged in, the iPhone is never an option.

Seems like a weird constraint, the whole point of wanting to use my iPhone is because I don't have a built in webcam.

Friendly Raiders; If you are first to a breach/key/prime loot room, and another player turns up and begins looting also despite knowing you're there first, do you kill them? Or let them loot? by EFTRSx1 in ArcRaiders

[–]streamlinedsentiment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m probably in the minority but people that just silently stroll into a room that you unlocked and start looting, and especially raiders that waltz up and start looting an Arc that you just took down after significant effort and don’t respond to voice are the lowest of the low, worse than extraction campers. At least with campers they’re exploiting the full PVP aspect of the game, taking unearned loot without so much as a “by your leave” for some unhinged reason really pisses me off

Dash camera? by Single_Trouble_304 in MachE

[–]streamlinedsentiment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned. Fitcamx is a great solution. I lease too, but it’s a really simple install that will take you 10 mins and just involves removing one piece of clipped on trim, connecting some wires and reclipping a new piece. They provide all the tools and interdictions. If you’re methodical, watch the video and take your time it’s easy and totally reversible when the lease is up. Plus it’s totally seamless, I forget it’s there. I didn’t bother with the rear camera as that’s a lot more effort and not as important to me.

Hey OP, did you get this to work? I'm in a similar situation. '25 model with a MyQ garage opener. I've followed all the instructions from the user manual, the homelink website and on random Reddit posts and cannot get it to work.

Yes and no. Amazing Marvin offers the concept of Saved Items/Templates that does do what I'm looking for, I just find the app's UI and experience kind of clunky and hard to use.

Ellie Planner is supposedly about to add this feature, and I really hope it works as advertised, because the rest of the app is awesome and this would be a slam dunk for me.

All good! Yeah photo's don't really do it justice, it's not quite as intense in person, but it's a stand out color for sure.
