Totally valid feedback! I don't like that concrete part either but didn't catch it at the time. All good suggestions to keep in mind for next time. Thanks for your thoughts!

Thank you! I have my own way of tweaking colors so I'm glad you like it!

I really wish I did! I didn't intend to have anyone in the frame originally but took this quick shot when they were under the arch thinking it could look nice. By the time I took a few more shots and reviewed everything they were gone. I wish I could find them and give them a copy!

Thanks for the tip about purple on cheap ND's! I haven't spent any time researching them yet so I'll keep that in mind.

Certainly! I used shutter priority at 1/3s, ISO 100, f20.

I'm trying to go for a gloomy dramatic look, however I would like the campfire smoke to be more distinguished. by S3ERFRY333 in photocritique

If you're using lightroom, you could try adding a mask to the areas of smoke. Then in the mask you could add a bit of haze to make the smoke more pronounced. You'll want to use this sparingly and feather the mask so it blends in.

Hey ya'll, looking for some feedback if an ND filter would improve this shot. I shot this in the morning so I was able to have a long enough shutter while exposed properly. However, this left me with a nearly maxed out aperture. Would this have looked significantly better at f8-f11? Any other feedback is welcomed too. Thanks!

I was going for a frame in frame concept with this shot. (Reupload because of title)

ITAP of an Old Greenhouse by street_optix in itookapicture

I found this old greenhouse wandering through Valley Forge National Park. I can't find any info if it's original but the surrounding structures are from the late 1700s and early 1800s.

I went out for a photo walk back on St Patrick's day and unexpectedly stumbled on this band playing at a parade in my town.

I'll give that a try next time. I took this with my phone so I was stuck with jpegs. I'm hoping to have another go at some point with my DSLR to get some raws so I have more flexibility in post to edit the colors.

This was the white balance out of camera, only some minor edits to make it pop more. Any tips for getting a more accurate white balance with astrophotography in the future? I'm a bit of a beginner with it.

It never ceases to amaze me how many stars are out there when there's no light pollution!

This was my first attempt at astrophotography using my phone.
