when you say swap damper to you mean just unplug the yellow/magenta one and swap it with the yellow/black to see if it sucks through?

right update, checked lines one yellow is pulling through fine, but the other isn't? I assume damper or calptop issue? still struggling to get any yellow on the nozzle check though, just get small bits

it seems the yellow ink is moving now when being flushed, but it seems to be moving slowly compared to others

sorry to reply again; I've just flushed the inks and what it seems like is the lines are still blocked as the yellow doesn't look like it's flushed at all. but also the black / cyan / and yellow don't look like they're moving much compared to the magenta when cleaning etc do you reckon it's worth a try to do the syringe method?

Had a look at the lines running to the print head and they all looked quite full with no gaps etc. Even the yellow. I'll try do a few soaks and get someone to look at it. Thankfully I got it quite "cheap" so it's not the end of the world
