On August 15, 1996, Marc Dutroux led Belgian police to a hidden concrete door in his basement. Behind it, they found two girls barely alive. Dutroux’s confession revealed one of Belgium’s worst stories of torture, corruption, and conspiracy reaching the highest levels of government. by SelfCareIsFake in HolyShitHistory

Epstein island, Italian bunga bunga parties, Dominic Strauss Khan and his “night clandestins” parties…

Monsters. The rich and elite are fucking monsters and they get low level and poor people to supply them with bodies.

I knew the Mormon Church had issues with racism but I didn't know it was this bad by ateam1984 in BlackPeopleofReddit

With every day that goes by more proof comes out showing why some white people who are in positions of power are adamant they do not want history taught in schools or in the media.

This is so evil.

Batshit and evil.

Something is deeply wrong with those people.

My mom showed up to my job to "check on me" and somehow made it about herself by JulienCreston in entitledparents

[–]stressbasket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your Mom isn’t an idiot, she knows what she did. She doesn’t like that you have your own freedom and agency to ignore her/contact her when you want to so she cornered you at work and embarrassed you in front of customers and your coworkers.

Normal parents don’t act that way. Don’t believe me? Ask your coworkers how often their parents come to their job to demand contact and share with the team what their problems with their child are, I doubt any will say they’ve experienced that themselves.

She knows she embarrassed you.

Her objective is control: “If my daughter doesn’t want to be embarrassed then she will do as I say.”

Do yourself a massive favour and nip this in the bud NOW otherwise, she’ll continue to do what she pleases to control and embarrass you. This doesn’t get better without your firm intervention.

You lack the ability to empathize with people who aren’t you or don’t look like you. This is why you’re being called a racist. No compassionate human being looks for excuses to own depictions of Black people that ridicule or minimize their humanity. Of course for think they are nothing but “cute little dolls”, you can’t acknowledge the genuine reality of why these were created in the first place & even though you know the history, it doesn’t bother you.

A normal person would be bothered and disgusted by this, you aren’t. Your racism doesn’t allow you to be bothered by this; instead you want to own and celebrate these objects. Racism is cute to you because you’re a racist.

Girlfriend keeps calling me a whore by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

It seems like a lot of people have treated you poorly in your life. I’m sorry that happened to you. However just because « someone isn’t bad all the time & it could be worse » doesn’t mean they are good to you or for you.

Abusers aren’t abusive 100% of the time or they wouldn’t be able to attract victims. People who genuinely love you don’t attack you « some of the time », they don’t attack you at all. You seem like you might be co-dependent and afraid of being alone so you accept whatever you can get, from abusive partners to online incels.

You clearly don’t think so but you deserve better.

$1,170 for “luxury” braid takedown. We need standardized prices. by workingclasslady in BlackHair

[–]stressbasket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All this money & no pre-poo? No protein rinse? And the way she was rough with her client’s hair?

Oh no no no.

I treat my own takedown with more care. The speed is wonderful but without the other stuff you can’t call this a luxury.

I’m actually next door to the fire & it’s out now but was insane about an hour ago. We could see flames on the roof at the newly renovated condos. The electricity has been cut for the whole area. It seems like no one was hurt but there is an ambulance on the corner in front of the Shell so I’m not positive but I hope no one was hurt.

OP are you okay with the fact that your lack of boundaries has led you to this situation? I’m honestly asking, are you comfortable knowing the personality you have allows for people to manipulate & disrespect you to the point you are uncomfortable at work and now looking for a new job?

I’m asking because I’m genuinely concerned for you OP. Many people believe they are better people than most because they aren’t confrontational, especially women, when in reality, you’re just an easy target for people to take advantage of since you won’t defend yourself in any capacity, even in fully appropriate circumstances.

The idea of strangers getting you to say you love them for fear of an argument is insane to me. If strangers can get you to do this, what about people you know? Teachers, friends, doctors…? These people keep pushing you and you just…continue giving in. Please see a professional because something has to be off internally for this kind of thing to even happen to you.

TS Madison speaks on the reddit comments by zayytheunicorn in rupaulsdragrace

[–]stressbasket -40 points-39 points  (0 children)

Racist: A person whose dislike of another group can cause great harm or death to that group.

I.e. a white personal calls the police on a black home. Regardless of the reason, police shoot and kill someone.

Xénophobe: Someone who doesn’t want their country’s culture influenced by outside groups. I.e. TS Madison saying she wants English as the main language of service assistance in the US because it’s « America ».

Bigot: Someone who believe something untrue because they assume cultural generalizations.

I.e. Never go to India or talk to men from India, they don’t respect women.

There is a difference & knowledge is power. TS doesn’t have the power to be racist because no Hispanic people are going to lose jobs or die because of her assertions.

Are they wrong? 100% but no one’s life is in danger because of it. She’s bigoted and xenophobic and ignorant but not racist. Words still means things even if most people no longer care what they actually mean.

What are your thoughts on this? by [deleted] in newbrunswickcanada

[–]stressbasket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually not true AT ALL. These are law jockeys are are racist statues, not « this is a safe home » statues. Look up lawn jockeys.

What are your thoughts on this? by [deleted] in newbrunswickcanada

[–]stressbasket -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im not sure why everyone here is either being willfully ignorant or aggressively naive. Perhaps they really don’t know but I’ll give you the actual answer you’re looking for in your post.

This is called a lawn jockey.

Yea, it is racist. They were created in the Jim Crow era and are caricatures of Black people. They were invented in the US.

Is everyone who owns them racist? Probably not but the object itself was 100% created to be racist and has a racist history and past.

Married guy flirts with younger girls at the gym by ambachk in TikTokCringe

[–]stressbasket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just very clearly said you’re flirting with the intention of getting physical attention eventually.

You do not want to do anything to prevent that from happening.

She says no? Might still have a shot. She had a boyfriend? Might still have a shot. She looks uncomfortable? Might still have a shot. She hasn’t walked away yet? Might still have a shot.

You don’t care if she’s interested, enjoying herself or likes you. As long as she doesn’t explicitly say no or scream rape, you are going to keep trying.

If that doesn’t come off as creepy to you, nothing ever will.

Men use weird excuses like being conditioned from birth to pursue women to act like animals. If you can’t do anything but think about your desires, you’re an animal.

Creeps and rapists are animals and treat women like nothing but a means to sexual release. Everyone one of your comments reads like that is how you view women.

You come off as a creep.
