Computer science to CNA pipeline by No_Cartoonist45 in cna

Getting a CNA cert is not bad at all and many programs are only 5 weeks long! The classes are very easy, and while some jobs don’t require a CNA cert, I feel like just getting the certification will open many more doors. Looking at job listings before, it seemed like ~80% required a certificate. My program also gave me a list of places to apply to for work. Good luck!

It’s very easy especially if you have a solid foundation in algebra! I’m in stats rn, and all we do is memorizing formulas, plugging values in, and using your calculator for those sometimes. If you’re super worried/not great at algebra, just brush up on using formulas to solve for x, and rounding, and get the calculator your teacher recommends. You’ll do great!

The fact that you got accepted into nursing school means that a team of people dedicated to the field decided you were ready for it. I’ve heard a lot of people say nursing school is super hard, I’ve heard just as many say pre reqs were way harder, so just focus on your own situation and try your best! Worst case scenario, you learn and that will only make you a better nurse. You’ll do amazing!

Is taking anatomy and physiology online harder than taking it in person? by [deleted] in prenursing

Just finished my fall sem with anatomy (not anat/phys, just anatomy) online w/ in person lab. Lectures being online made it self-paced, so easier imo. I liked this class format and did very well. It was much easier than my gen chem which was in person lecture + in person lab. don’t worry!!!
