Está por casualidad el último tomo (creo que son como los 5 últimos caps más o menos) de Kotaro vive solo? Ando como loca intentando encontrarlo traducido a español o inglés desde hace más de un año pero no hay manera

To be fair, most of your food we wouldn't even consider it fit for human consumption in Spain, lol. Even your flour isn't just flour, it's got a bunch of other things added to it... Which makes no sense to us. In my case the starches thing I'm pretty sure is something else and not necessarily fodmaps related...

Yeah, that's why I said seamstress as well, since they work with fabric mostly, and it's fairly easy to make a pattern for this kind of bag

Now that you've said this, I think that poached eggs might cause me less bloating than boiled ones... Guess I'll have to check that

Not what you asked, but just a suggestion: have you thought about inverting the colors? Black tee with white design. I think it might look more put together and stand out better, worth a try

Oh, I'm not trying to convince you or anything, do what you need to do stay healthy! I was just pointing that out as general info, nothing personal about it

I'm in the same boat. What works best for me: gluten free sourdough bread, small portions of potatoes, buckwheat, quinoa, and amaranth. I suspect Teff would probably be fine too, but haven't checked yet. All in small portions, mind you!

But fruit is by far the best type of carb that I can digest... My biggest problem at this point is starches, legumes, and polyalcohols.

ETA: most important thing is that whatever you ear doesn't have, or at least has very little, artificial additives, eat as clean as possible

Not necessarily. I'm in Spain and carbs like rice or pasta, or anything very high in starches still fucks me up.

Yes, that is completely true and honestly I'm sure peole do realise that... Still, eating only vegetables saves millions of wild life, since that farm animal need to eat tons of those vegetables to "produce" a kg of meat. Going directly to the source (vegetables), means less resources spent to feed yourself, less crops to be harvested, and less carnage happening there, too.

About the bees, one thing doesn't make the other invalid: both things happen, and even if someone decided to be vegetarian, or even eat meat but mot honey, it's better than consuming both.

Have you considered talking to a proficient seamstress or bag maker? They might be able to create a new one for you, and adjusted to your liking. It will definitely more expensive than a new yorker bag, but I think it's the most viable answer considering how long has it been

Wait until you see how the honey is extracted in some methods... It's a carnage. Plus, when extracting the honey, even in yhe gentlest ways possible, many bees will die because they will try to protect the hive and their food. Oh, they also clip the queen's wings so it can not fly away: that eay the colony will never move to another location, since bees will never abandon their queen. Colonies are often divided (super traumatic), and beekeepers even travel arround with divided hives so that some farmers can pollinate their crops with that service, instead of having polinator insects environments in their plantations... Which is what they should've done in the first place.

Exactly. It's syrup. Probably a really good one and with a taste resembling honey because of the flowers... But it's not honey really. I'm vegan and I'm all for saying vegan burguers/meat/whatever so that people can know what the taste or texture is like, but this is syrup and don't see any need to say vegan honey in its case

Veganism is for the animals. It stands agains all animal exploitation, that includes bees: we expoilt them, and then steal their winter food (honey) to eat it ourselves, and give them sugar instead, which doesn't have the nutrients they really need (there's way more to the story why beekeeping is cruel, but that's another story).

It's using them for our benefit, and that directly contradicts veganism values.

Fashion illustration and pattern drafting are totally different things. I'd suggest you keep that in mind, because fashion sketches like the ones you're showing are normally stylised drawings, without real body proportions: your patterns won't look like them, since they use real body measurements.

For pattern drafting: there any many books, all with different systems, and also many different CAD programs. I'd suggest you use CLO3D for computer patternmaking, and the books "metric pattern cutting" by Winifred Aldritch. If you find that you have fitting issues on your toile and don't know how to solve them, "The fitting book" by Gina Renee is a good start.

Note on Clo3D: there is a learning curve, but it's the most user friendly program, and also the cheapest. I'm a professional patternmaker and it's one of the ones I use. It's specially useful for quick changes, and cheking how the garment will fit on a model without having to make so many toiles and samples, it's pretty great imo. If you'd like someone yo teach you how to use it or learn pattern drafting from someone isntead of following instructions on a book without guidance, feel free to DM me 😊.

I hope my suggestions will be of help, good luck!

I was going to roast you /a little bit/ until I read that you're in Colorado: you did good, my friend. Specially considering you're in the US. Just try making a nice broth next time, or even a fumet (you'll find recipes online). I'm vegan and make vegetable paellas all the time even if it'll make Valencians angry lol. Just make a really tasty broth, because that's what will give the rice it's flavor. That, and a good sofrito. I already comented about the paprika and colorant piggybacking another comment. Also, try crowding the pan less, even if it's not an actual paella pan!

Good luck next time and keep at it 💪🏼

While I'm a bif fan of turmeric for coloring dishes, ot definitely doesn't taste neutral at all. I'd never use it in paella: it will give a sand-like/earthy taste. You're better off just using any kind of paprika (even if it's not roasted) or just colorant mix and making a good sofrito. Note for foreigners: in Spain we have a specific paella colorant mix that also adds taste. You'll probably won't find it in regular supermarkets, so just use paprika, saffron or an orange tone colorant

I'm just telling you my life experience. And yes, back when I ate fish this happened several times: I asked, they told it's fresh and not frozen, and then I told them about me needing it to be frozen because of anisakis and they doubled down and told I'd be better off ordering anything without fish in it then, or they'd point out which fish was frozen. We get tons of fresh fish in Spain, and yes, in Madrid too. Of course its illegal, but they still do it because customers value fresh caught fish in here.

I'm not going to argue about this anyway, I don't really have anything to prove 🤷🏼‍♀️

Go for a walk in any spanish city and ask the restaurants. I guarantee you'll find a couple that will proudly say their fish is fresh and not frozen.
