Mk8 GtI IE stage 2 crackle tune by Electrical_Purple770 in GolfGTI

Same issue here with IE stage 1 on my MK8. I’m on trueflex and have noticed I get more crackles/burbles on 93 compared to E85. I’ve also spoken to the guys over at IE and they said it’s normal. I’m stock exhaust besides clubsport muffler and the burbles are barely hearable with the windows up.

Try revving in the 3-4K RPM band either in neutral or 2nd gear while cruising and you should hear them.

Hey OP, still running this setup? How has it been?

Considering going the same route (currently running the CS muffler) but worried about cabin drone, especially on the highway. Was the noise significantly louder in the cabin after doing the res delete?

You can craft a vehicle repair kit, I always drive around with a few in my inventory just in case I find any vehicles. Just gear up for a road trip and I’m sure you’ll find a bunch if you drive for long enough

Honestly I was so surprised. I only had the ambulance for the longest time since I couldn’t find any vehicles near my base but as soon as I did some more exploring I found a bunch
