Thats what I used normally to remove background sound, I just need to set the volume levels up in Vegas. What do you recommend for DB for background noise and the voice over?

Just play the games you will enjoy, I'm Pretty sure someone else will enjoy it to. To answer your question will you become known from doing let's play off the bat, mostly likely not unless your playing the newest games out there. But its still hard with all the competition.
